Strawberry Cobbler I

Whole strawberries are combined with a thick syrup of sugar, water and cornstarch. The mixture is poured into a two-quart baking dish, dotted with butter and topped with a cream-based dough. This luscious cobbler is baked until the strawberries are bubbling away and the top is brown and beautiful.

Rhubarb and Strawberry Cobbler

Baked in single portion custard cups, this rhubarb and strawberry cobbler is easy to put together and serve. Sugar cookie dough, used as the cobbler topping, is the secret ingredient that saves a lot of preparation time. The true summer flavor of the rhubarb and strawberries are brought out by cinnamon and lemon juice. Serve this with ice cream or whipped cream.

In a simple crust made of confectioners' sugar, flour and butter is piled a hearty mound of whole strawberries that glistens from a sweet syrup spooned over the top. Then dollop with whipped cream, and that's all there is to this wonderfully simple sweet pie.

This easy-to-follow recipe makes a lovely 9x13-inch dessert. The fruit is combined with lots of sugar and a smidgen of flour, and then it 's spooned into the bottom of the prepared baking dish. Just before popping it into the oven, a buttery, brown sugar and oat crumble is sprinkled on top. 

Strawberry Tarts

This easy recipe makes twelve miniature tarts, the perfect offering for a tea party. A cooked apple glaze is brushed over the bottom of each pre-baked tart shell. Sliced strawberries are spooned in and more apple glaze is poured on. The tarts are chilled and served with a dollop of whipped cream.

Fresh berries are combined with flour, sugar and cinnamon, piled into a prepared crust, and dotted with butter. Then on goes the top crust, and the pie is slipped into a hot oven until the filling bubbles and the crust turns a golden brown.

Even without the strawberry glaze, this pie would be wonderful. But do you think you can resist how the luscious glaze coats each berry so that each bite is a sweet burst of strawberry? Serve with vanilla ice cream or unsweetened whipped cream.

Half of this pie 's strawberries are arranged in a baked pastry shell, and the other half are crushed and cooked up with sugar, water and cornstarch until thick and bubbly. This lovely glaze is then poured over the whole berries in the pastry shell. Chill this pie for several hours and serve it with mounds of whipped cream. 

Frosty Strawberry Squares
