This was the best bread I've made in a long time. I took other reveiws in mind and used 4 cups of strawberries, 1 1/2 cups of sugar and little less cinnamon. It was perfect!! My husband loved it. He had it warm with some honey and he thought it was the best. I will definetly be making this again. Thanks for the recipe, it's a keeper.

I loved this bread!! I did not know what to do with the strawberries I had that were past where people would eat them. I would have given it a 5 star but I used some suggestions from others... I 1/2ed the recipe to make only one loaf. I reduced the cinnamon to 1tsp (wanted 1.5), added vanilla, reduced sugar to 3/4(wanted 1 cup) and reduced oil to 1/3 (wanted 1/2). I also added 1.5cups (maybe a little more) strawberries and I cut and diced the strawberries. There was LOTS of strawberry flavour, bits of strawberry and it browned really nice. It was wonderful and I will be making it again

I did not care for this. The inside was mushy, the top/sides were rubbery, and there was not much strawberry flavor.

This was really great. I followed some of the other suggestions to health it up and also addressed the "mushy" comments... Cut sugar by 1/2c (will cut a full cup next time), replaced 1/2c flour with whole wheat+ground flax seed, replaced oil w/ applesauce. I diced the strawwberries and added a 1 cup of strawberry puree. Froze nicely too!

This is a great recipe. I followed the advice on increasing strawberries and cutting down on the sugar. I thought the amount of cinnamon was perfect. Delicous..I will definately make this again!!

I just made this bread, and I must say it is the best. I turned it into muffins, and I think i will have to make more because they seem to be disappearing already. VERY GOOD

This is a very good recipe. The first time I made it according to the directions (minus the nuts) and it was good. The second batch I made I added about .5 cups more strawberries. Substituted 1c white flour for whole wheat. The bread was still very good. In the future I will also reduce the sugar.

YUMMY!! I made this bread with our local Oregon strawberries and it turned out SO good. I did make it a bit healthier- i used half whole wheat flour and applesauce for half the oil. I also only added 1 1/2 cups of sugar instead of the 2 cups- the strawberries were plenty sweet as was the applesauce. Anyway- fantastic bread- I will make it again!!

Made mini-muffins, followed recipe exactly, just used mini tins, and baked for 17 minutes. Next time I will not fill baking cups too high, they expand more than my blueberry recipe- and will ADD Vanilla to add some more depth to the muffins. Very good, light breakfast on the go!

This recipe was really great. I only made a couple of changes. I threw in some blueberries because I needed to use them up and instead of the 1 1/4 cups of oil, I used 3/4 cup of oil and 1 cup of granny smith applesauce (I frequently use applesauce instead of oil in baking goods). The cake was moist, delicious, and my family enjoyed it for breakfast during their recent visit. Thanks for the great recipe.

The bread was flavorful, but we couldn't taste the strawberries. I'm tempted to use the ingredients as written, omit the strawberries and add shredded zucchini instead.

This bread was more like a dessert - with whipped topping and the bread warm from the oven or the microwave...delicious!

This was fantastic! I made two nights ago after buying fresh strawberries at the local farmers market. My boyfriend was a little skeptical but he love it and so do our kids! I added about a cup more strawberries and no nuts, but that was it. Great recipe.

delicious! I do not like nuts, so I put about 1/2 of chocolate chips in it. It's great for breakfast or a snack.

Flavor was fantastic. Great way to use up a big lot of strawberries. Only issues for me were that the bread didn't rise like a typical quick bread, and also, the moisture from the strawberries made the bread a bit mushy in some places, especially in the middle, so much so that the middle wasn't servable. I threw it out, and served the rest in "cake-size" pieces, and called it strawberry cake.
