Fabulous! Made it yesterday, already passed this link on to two people because they wanted to know how to make it too. I followed the instructions exactly as they are - made the angel food cake from a mix - and could not have asked for better.

I have made this several times and everyone asked for the recipe. I always use a frozen Sara Lee pound cake instead of Angel food cake. I have never tried it using the Angel food cake. Next time I plan on using blueberries with blueberry glaze instead of strawberry.

Easy to make and very tasty. I used "no-sugar" glaze, though, which was all that was available at the time. If you don't like the taste of aspartame, which I don't, this ruins the flavor in my opinion. Will make again, but next time will use the "real" stuff for the glaze, and cut back on fat etc with fat free cream cheese and whipped topping choices.

Decided to make this into a trifle for my mother's 94th birthday using her old trifle bowl. Made my own cake using angel food cake mix, made the glaze using strawberry jello, cornstarch, & boiling water; after it cooled I mixed with the sliced strawberries. I followed the layering order and the layers all mingle in a rich, almost cheesecake-like flavor--it was delicious. The trifle was a pretty presentation, and everyone loved it. This is going on my 5-star list--thanks for a super recipe Kelli.

This dessert is unbelievable!!! And so easy! It's the perfect summer treat: Light and cool. Made 3 times already with rave reviews. I used advice of other reviews and only used enough glaze to coat strawberries. Yumm!!!

Very quick and easy dessert... and very good. I didn't use as much glaze as called for, just enough to cover the strawberries. It would be just as good if you sprinkled the strawberries with sugar and allowed them to sit a little while, instead of glazing them.

Two words: Five Star I changed it up slightly. I used a 6.2 ounce package of angel food (makes just 1 loaf pan instead of the typical 2 in the boxed version). So, with having just one loaf, I cut it in half the long way. Made just 1/2 of the sweetened cream cheese mixture using just 2 Tablespoons Splenda (as my grandmother is diabetic and this was her birthday treat). Put half the cream cheese mixture on one cut side of the cake, and the rest of the cream cheese mixture on the other cut side of the cake. Then put one layer of strawberries on (about a pint) and put the 2 halves together (like an angel food sandwich). Before serving, I topped with 3 big dallops of cool whip, and then cut 3 strawberries into "flowers" and topped each of those with one blueberry (all for presentation). I did not use glaze, as it also reduces sugar, calories, etc.

I have made this twice already and each time everyone loved it! I added 1 tsp of vanilla to the cream cheese mixture to give it a little more cheesecake flavor and used only enough glaze to fully coat the strawberries. It was so simple to make and got rave reviews. Highly recommended for a quick, easy dessert that everyone will love.

YUM!YUM!YUM! This is so good and soooo simple! Did not use all of the glaze, just added until looked good. Did not add additional sugar as my hand picked berries were extra sweet. Thanks for such a great recipe!!

I'm with the crowd - this was absolutely delicious! I usually don't try out new recipes at parties, but made an exception for this one. It was definitely a hit! I left a portion with the host and hostess, and she told me she tried to sneak the last bite, but her husband beat her to it. I know what I'll be taking to get-togethers in the future!
