This is OUT OF THIS WORLD DELICIOUS! Made it for a back yard BBQ.. and... wow. Super easy to make, and a big crowd pleaser. I imagine you could really get creative with it too, using all sorts of different berries/fruit... or maybe even find a way to toss in a little rum to make it a little more 'fun' (haha). Or, you can just not change a darn thing and follow this recipe to a T-- because it's just perfect as it is! Love this!

Very easy and very yummy. My only problem was that the cake became moist and mushy. But I ate it anyway :)

EXCELLENT! The only change I made was to use a 5.1 oz pkg. of Jello instant vanilla pudding and 3 cups of 2% milk. Everything else remained the same. It was all I had on hand and the amount was perfect. Thank you Pamela Gainer for such a great recipe!

I have made this twice already and both times it was a hit. One time I used cheesecake flavored pudding, the other I used white chocoloate. Both times it was sugar-free as the milk is sweet. Per others suggestion, I soaked the strawberries in sugar overnight and doubled the pudding portion. I used a larger container of coolwhip--- using half in the pudding mix and the rest on the top of the trifle.

Tasty trifle. I wouldn't say it was outstanding. I used full flavor/fat everything and still thought it was missing something. I added the whole can of sweetened condensed milk and milk instead of water. Still missing something. My husband really liked this but I will be trying another trifle recipe.

I enjoyed this recipe very much. It is pretty to make and looks really rich, but without all the fat. I will make it again.

Great dessert. I added two packages of vanilla pudding and also used strawberries and blueberries and used pound cake instead of angel food cake.

I loved this trifle! I doubled the pudding portion because we like lots of pudding in our trifles, and used 1 box of banana flavored and 1 box of french vanilla flavored. I doubled the sweetened cond. milk also, but only used one 8 oz. cool whip. It was a perfect ratio of pudding to fruit to cake in my opinion. Strawberries are in season right now in Florida and this was the perfect recipe to use them on.

I made this for a New Years Eve party and it was a big hit. I used two 3oz packages of Vanilla pudding, 1 1/2 cups of skim milk, 1/2 cup of fat free sweetened condensed milk, and fat free cool whip. I took other suggestions and let my fresh strawberries soak in sugar for about 30 minutes prior to making this. It will be even better when I make this during strawberry season. Next time I may try adding different berries with it. My husband normally dislikes anything with angel food cake but said that the combination is so good that it does not taste like regular angel food cake. A let mine settle in the fridge for atleast 4 hours.

I made this for our family Christmas and it was a HUGE hit!! Everyone wanted the recipe before I left; they would not even let me e-mail it to them!! I did make minor changes. I used a large package of SF/FF Jell-O and changed the liquids as follows: - 1 & 1/2 cups skim milk (instead of water as in original recipe) - 1/2 cup FF sweetened condensed milk - tossed in about 1/8 teaspoon vanilla extract I also had to use frozen strawberries since the ones at the grocery looked yucky! This was a MESS!! Once thawed, the strawberries were way too watery. It was fine in the end, but I had quite a mess trying to pat them dry! I would suggest fresh starwberries whenever possible! Otherwise this dish is easy, beautiful, and delicious!

I made this for my boyfriend and a small group of close friends, and it was gone in 30 minutes. I was really nervous about this dish since the ingredients are so simple, I was afraid it would be bland, or boring, but it was wonderful!!! I got compliments, and it looked impressive- but it was so easy!!

This recipe is very good and can be made in many different variations. The first time we made it we used a strawberry cake mix. We also chopped up some fresh strawberries and added some sugar which we let them soak in. To the fresh strawberry mixture we added a jar of Smucker's strawberry ice cream topping. We wanted it to be nice and sweet. Another time we made this recipe we used a french vanilla cake mix and added an extra tsp of pure vanilla to the mix before baking. Then we used cheesecake pudding instead of vanilla. Again we prepared the strawberries by adding sugar and a jar of strawberry topping. This dessert is always a big hit and we always have requests for the recipe.

I made this last night for get together we attended. Everyone raved about it. It was light but had a richness to it. I used milk instead of water, regular vanilla pudding, and regular condensed milk. So it wasn't a low calorie dessert...but it sure was yummy!

This was a huge hit with my family for our BBQ on memorial day weekend. Light, low fat and delicious! I made it with regular instant vanilla pudding (not sugar free) and light cool whip. I also made the angel food cake from a box. I definitely will make this again!
