Super fast, super easy. Took me less than 20 mins to make! Very creamy. I 1/2 recipe and it was plenty for 2 small kids and myself! Would make again! One sidenote: i do recommend using sharp cheddar instead of mild...better flavor, my preference I guess.

This is the same recipe I use for baked except less milk and cheese. It turned out great. For those that said it was gritty, I'm not sure why. I know when I make it I melt the butter first in the pan then add flour until it's smooth then add milk a 1/2 cup at a time and whisk until smooth. Then cook until thick. Yum

I loved it because it was easy to make and very tasty. However, it is very rich!

Simple, creamy, and flavorful. I added some Monterrey Jack and used about half Sharp and half Mild Cheddar to up the flavor a bit. Would be very simple to adjust the recipe to different meals. Went great with the apple molasses pork chops I made last night.

This was an okay base for a mac-n-cheese, and I do love how fast it is! But, it is a little bland as is. I added garlic salt, onion powder, dry mustard, fresh ground pepper, and also decreased the milk and added some sour cream. With all the additions, we really loved it for a quick, stove-top mac-n-cheese!

Really a 3.5 star dish. I added an egg I had tempered and also 1/2 tsp dry mustard. If you are having a problem with this sauce being grainy, you have cooked it too high and "broken" your sauce. Was velvety smooth! But I removed from heat to add cheese and noodles, thus eliminating that risk (because I have done it too many times myself)

This gets 5 stars for beings the easiest mac & cheese ever, not having processed cheese, and being super creamy. But gets 3 stars for flavor. It's not horrible, but tastes like the stuff you get at the deli counter. I used high end medium cheddar and next time I'll try sharp cheddar or pepperjack and a little onion and garlic. All in all it's a keeper recipe.

I tried this recipe tonight and, while it was SO wonderful and easy to do on the stove top, we were a little disapointed. We just didn't care for the taste of it. I am going to give it another shot some time and use a different kind of cheese other than cheddar because I think that's why we didn't care for it.
