This was wonderful. I was skeptical about using lettuce but I went for it and it was great! Instead of mushrooms and snowpeas, I used bell pepper, carrots, and water chestnuts, due to personal taste. Other than that, excellent!

Excellent recipe! I used sesame oil instead of canola, added some sesame seeds to the marinating beef, used chicken broth and replaced the cornstarch (we didn't have any) with whole wheat flour. Had to cook it for slightly longer than the recipe called for. We loved this and will definitely be making it again!

I changed the mushrooms for onions b/c that's what I had on hand, but otherwise stuck with the recipe exactly. I was pensive about the lettuce (b/c I would normally use rice), but I went with it...and WOW!!!

This dish is EXCELLENT!!!! I followed the recipe exactly, using chicken broth and serving it over shredded lettuce. WOW was I impressed! My boyfriend is diabetic and I'm always searching for new recipes that are filling and low in starches and carbs! Not only did this dish fill us up, but it was very flavorful and looks pretty too! Thank you for sharing your recipe Ninez!
