Great recipe. Made it for work. Co workers are great taste testers! Everyone loved it and requested the recipe. I am not a fond lover of butterscotch chips so I think I may try peanut butter chips or white chocolate chip next time.

This was really good but really rich. I used all the called for ingredients but added more chocolate chips and used craisins instead of chocolate covered raisins. It was a big hit. I layed it out on a jelly roll pan instead of a 9x13 which worked great. Easy to get in and out. I also threw in some mini marshmallows because i had them. I may throw in coconut another time. All in all, great recipe. I will make it again!

This was yummy good. I did not make it, but when I do, I will make it with dark chocolate and peanut butter chips instead. Not a huge fan of butterscotch chips. I also think the chocolate covered raisins can be switched for regular regular raisins since this is plenty chocolate enough.

OMG!!!! This was EXCELLENT!!! Only changes: left out the chocolate covered raisins and also put on a peanut butter drizzle on top (follow same directions as the butterscotch, just with a couple of spoonfuls of peanutbutter)... Results: ooey gooey good! A big hit at the office and with the kiddies!!! Thank you. :)

I used peanut butter chips instead of butterscotch. Everything else I kept the same. This reminds me of something I've had before.....maybe a Take Five bar? This is going to be a keeper. We all tried a piece and fell in love.

yum! very tasty & simple to make. I used spanish peanuts instead of dry roasted, threw in some holiday m&ms, and extra raisins (my fave w/melty chocolate!)... good stuff & everyone loved them!

A unique and tasty addition for the holiday treat tins and plates. Friends and family enjoyed this candy bark very much and asked for it to be in the goodie boxes again this holiday season. Must keep them happy! ;)

I'm sorry, I see so many people love this one, but I just found it OK. Too sweet for us, and I feel that there are too many different ingredients, competing flavors. Thank you, anyway, it seems to be a hit with others.

My husband loves Rice Krispie Treats with Butterscotch chips, chocolate chips and peanut butter. These are much easier to make than the RKTs. We had these as snacks for Thanksgiving! They were tasty and the name is really fun too! Everyone kept saying, "will they break my bones?" I'm sure that's said ALOT around this recipe!

I've made this recipe several times, and last time, I was in a bind; I forgot the raisins, so I just used a handful of dried cranberries...a delicious alternative that went to rave reviews!

Almost too painfully sweet. It was delicious and great with subs: Trader Joe's Berry Medley for the chocolate covered raisins, and Nature's Promise High Fiber cereal in place of the pretzels. I obviously was too impatient to try out the recipe to head out to the grocery store. :b

I found this inspiration using an ingredients search for the butterscotch chips. I was trying to get rid of some other excess seasonal ingredients as well. Instead of going out to buy more stuff, such as the pretzel sticks, I substituted broken party crackers. I used orange-flavored dried cranberries instead of the chocolate covered raisins, and chopped mixed nuts and some sunflower seeds for the peanuts, and as someone else suggested I added mini marshmallows. The melted ingredients -- the mortar -- I did exactly as written, and I kept all the proportions of the other items as in the original. The result was addictive. I will make this again with whatever variation may present itself. Easy and wonderful!

This is a really cool idea, but I changed the ratio of chocolate and butterscotch because I think butterscotch is too sweet. Because I used more chocolate, I used regular raisins - not chocolate covered. Even with my adaptation, people seemed to really like this candy.
