This sauce is great...if you cook a crappy steak and want to cover up the flavor of the steak completely! OMG, it is soooo overwhelming and I don't just mean spicy cause we like spicy foods. I guess it would be ok but for something else, like mexican food or as a dip even, but no way, not with a steak!

When I open a can of chipotles in adobo sauce, I puree them and put them in the freezer, so i can take out just what i need at the time. Wonderful, smokey flavor! definitely not for the faint-hearted. Wonderful sauce! would just suggest adding chili powder, cumin, cilantro, garlic, parsley to taste.

So simple, yet amazing! Only change was to use fresh cilantro in the sauce (about 1 Tbs. for a half recipe). Am planning on using the sauce in a burrito tomorrow. Yum.
