This was very tasty. You may want to slice the cabbage before simmering it, because it's easy to cut uniform pieces while still raw & together; it's also cool to handle & may cook faster. I forgot to salt the cooking water, so salt was added to the hot milk; this allowed the salt to dissolve & be incorporated when folding all ingredients together. Since recipe didn't specify when to add the green part of scallions, I garnished the dish with it.
