Ingredients

  • 1 pound butter (no substitutes)
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder

Directions

  1. In a mixing bowl, cream butter and sugar. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition, and vanilla. Combine flour and baking powder; add to creamed mixture and mix well. Shape with a cookie press. Place on ungreased baking sheets. Bake at 325 degrees F for 12-15 minutes or until light brown.
