Fun! It takes a little practice to get the fingers to look real. My favorite looking fingernail is a blanced almond. It looks very real. Slivered almonds also look good but are very brittle. (Very tasty too!)

These were amazing. The tasted good and looked so cool. We moved to Norway and Holoween is a new thing here so I made these for my daughter to take to schoo. I made about 80 finger and her class only has 24 students. She brought an empty plate back and told me that everyone in her school was taling about them. So fun and easy but a bit time consuming....still worth it:)

These were great. I followed the recipe exactly. I used almond slices though. Once cooled, I used Wilton red no taste food coloring and put some under the almond and some on the end where the finger was "cut off". The kids loved them

These were really yummy- nice and buttery! I added green food coloring to the dough as well as a little extra sugar. I also took other's suggestions and dipped the almonds in strawberry jelly before inserting them into the "finger". I smushed the other end of the cookie and added more jelly, to simulate a severed finger. It was awesome!

this was really cool. I made a ton of these and had a blast decorating them. The cookie itself wasn't really anything special, but I liked the texture (it was on the crunchy side) I put almond extract in the batter to mix it up a little and added just a little green food coloring. They looked great

This might be a false rating since I didn't actually use the recipe. I used my own sugar cookie dough to make the fingers, and use jelly beans for nails, and people LOVED them. I wanted to be able to give credit where it's due since the creativity was appreciated by all! Thank you for this idea! (p.s. I realize this is a few months late, I made them for halloween, not chrsitmas! lol)

These are a little trickier than the look! Make them smaller than you think they should be...they do tend to puff up quite a bit. They were a big hit with my neices and nephews!
