What a delightfully unusual salad. The dressing is esquisite. Didn't think my family would like it because of so much sugar, but they really liked it! We did use romaine instead of spinach, and it was very, very tasty.

It was really good, but I would use waaay less sugar, a little too sweet for our sweet tooth. With that being said, this salad was quite tasty.

So good. I now keep the dressing on the side, because I always tend to use too much. Just be sure to mix it up well before use. I add some feta when I make this recipe. YUM

Loved this! During the summer (when strawberries are sweetest) it is a fabulous salad to take to work for lunch or add chicken, onions and walnuts and it's dinner.

While I really like this recipe, I think that it makes too much dressing. But I generally don't like a lot of dressing on my salad. I omit the poppy seeds, opting for a toasted walnut or almond in the salad. I agree with the other reviewers that you should add the dressing at the last possible second.

Absolutely incredible. Both my kids loved it as well as my husband. I waited until the last minute to mix the strawberries, spinach, and dressing so the spinach wouldn't wilt. It was delic! I will definitely be making this again. I seved it with the Pasta Strega Nonna from this site. They went well together and provided a colorful meal.

This is a great recipe. I have made it many times and it's always gone. I do change the vegetable oil for Olive oil and also add almonds..they give it a great crunky taste. Thank you for sharing..my kids also eat this salad when I make it.

This recipe is amazing! But anytime a recipe requires modifications I have to deduct a star. Like others, I used Raspberry Balsamic Vinegar instead of the vinegar the recipe called for. I cut the sugar in half (the full recipe amount makes the dressing too sweet), added mandarin oranges and substituted the seeds for roasted almonds. With these changes the salad is delicious!

This was great- I made it for a playdate and the toddlers kept wanting more, more, more! The only alterations that I made were to add mandarin oranges and sliced almonds, and to decrease the sugar to 1/4 cup. Thanks for the recipe!

I absolutely *love* this salad. I have made it many times for friends and family and everyone just raves about how good it is. The only thing I really do differently is add feta cheese (sooo good!) also I usually leave out the poppy seeds, just because I never have them on hand. This recipe is great, so easy and so yummy!
