So good so fresh. Do not refrig the dressing. It gets hard, so only make what you are going to use right then. I did not mix in the dressing until ready to serve. It gets real broke down real quick. Beautiful and great flavor when fresh.

My husband thought I was insane making this he was sure he wouldn't like it! He loved it! Everyone I have ever served this too LOVES it. I like the addition of Avocado and use balsamic vinegar in place of the regular kind.

This is a pretty good recipe but can be made outstanding with a few changes and additions.I added chopped walnuts (in place of the seeds)and crumbled feta cheese to the salad for extra crunch and flavour. For the dressing, I used balsamic vinegar in place of the white vinegar to give the dressing more tang and used 1/3 a cup of sugar so the sweetness in the dressing did not overpower the sweetness of the strawberries.

I fried a slice of bacon (turkey for us but regular is GREAT) per serving and crumbled one of top of each salad. Then for those who like it (not me) I added some sliced red onion. My husband said it was the best salad I ever made him - and I've made him a lot of salads!!

My 7 year old son, who refuses to touch anything green, gobbled up two helpings of this salad! I used half of the sugar, and omitted the seeds because I didn't have any on hand. I also added some crumbled feta cheese. Excellent!

This was a big hit at a cookout that I had attended. I added a fews things that put it over the top. 1. Bacon crumbs. 2. Feta cheese sprinkles 3. Walnut pieces 4. 1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar.

I love this salad and everyone who's had it loves it as well. I usually add about half of a red onion which is really good, and this last time I added some roasted almonds. Super good adding the crunch.

I served this salad at a BBQ. I am a dietitian, so I substituted canola oil for vegetable oil as it is a healthier oil. This recipe was a HIT! Three people have asked for the recipe.

Yummy! I also served this with candied pecans, and blue cheese. Both on the side. I didn't add the dressing, that way no worries about soggy salad. Guests just added as much as they wanted. For the dressing, I too used less sugar, and changed the vinegar to balsamic and red wine!!! It was a hit...in fact my Auntie just asked for the recipe for July 4th.

This salad is FABULOUS! I made it for the wife one night and she was amazed as well. That's a grand slam in my book! I added some candied almonds that I made myself (that was a hassle, let me tell you...) and served it along side some baked tilapia fillets with some wine. This is a great salad for a romantic dinner for 2. She made it again for the family and, surprise, the kids loved it too! A wonderful multi purpose recepie. Thanks!!
