Yummy! I also served this with candied pecans, and blue cheese. Both on the side. I didn't add the dressing, that way no worries about soggy salad. Guests just added as much as they wanted. For the dressing, I too used less sugar, and changed the vinegar to balsamic and red wine!!! It was a hit...in fact my Auntie just asked for the recipe for July 4th.

This salad is FABULOUS! I made it for the wife one night and she was amazed as well. That's a grand slam in my book! I added some candied almonds that I made myself (that was a hassle, let me tell you...) and served it along side some baked tilapia fillets with some wine. This is a great salad for a romantic dinner for 2. She made it again for the family and, surprise, the kids loved it too! A wonderful multi purpose recepie. Thanks!!

Really awesome recipe! I served for my parents in from out of town and it was cool and fresh! I only used a little white sugar, maybe two tablespoons and it was still great!!

Great flavors, very easy to make. I use red wine vinegar and 1/3 cup sugar and less oil (olive). I also add fresh cracked pepper and salt. As written, with all that sugar, I'd find it too sweet, so hence the 4 stars.

I made this twice this week for family and friends, once with honey the other with 1/3 of the sugar it called for. By far the couple tbsp of honey won! So that would be my only change to make it 5 stars! I also added feta, perfect with any meal!

This was absolutely delicious. I made it for Easter brunch, and everyone loved it. I did have outrageously good strawberries, so I'm sure that helped, but the dressing itself was awesome. I also added a package of glazed pecans (found in my produce section) and it gave it an awesome crunch. Very, very good.

I made this while I was on vacation with family. Everyone thought this was great!. I did add toasted sliced almonds and mandarin oranges. I also substituted the white wine vinegar for a raspberry vinegrette from the store. I also bought a premixed lettuce with many types of lettuce in it. I also did not put the seeds in because not everyone likes seeds. If I make this again I will probably try honey instead of sugar and maybe less oil because it was a little oily for me.

This was wonderful and held great reviews from the family. I did change the sugar to splenda and cut it down to 1/8 of a cup. I have also used organic mixed blend of lettuce instead of spinach. It was very good both ways and I would make multiple times over.

Wonderful!Made it for dinner last night! The salad fanatic huddy loved it and the kiddo has requested me to make it once a week!! I only gave four stars because I didn't use all the ingredients. I left out the poppy and sesame seeds, as well as the almonds, but I did add mandarin oranges. It still was great and I am waiting to make it next week with ALL the ingredients! TY!

Excellent salad/dressing. Also: Needing a tofu marinade (for grilling) and lacking any other ideas, I used the leftover dressing. It worked beautifully.

I took this to a pot luck and everyone fell in love with it. Great and simple recipe. However, I do have to say that I made it again but used splenda instead of sugar and it still tasted great but less calories.
