I keep coming back to this recipe for the dressing. It is delicious and simple, and goes well with almost any salad!

I get so many requests for this simple salad, even from picky children who wouldn't touch spinach under any other circumstance. I tried and true family favorite for years

Everyone wanted the recipe! Not a piece of spinach or strawberry left over. Absolutely delicious, I added glazed almonds and pecans. Will make again and again. Thanks for the recipe!

I add a little fresh squeezed lemon juice, substitute honey instead of sugar, and leave out the sesame seeds. It's a hit.

Excellent, and a perfect pairing with fish recipes. I would recommend cutting back on the sugar a bit.

This was an excellent salad. I used one bag of spinach and one bag of baby arugula. I poured too much oil on the greens, but that was my fault. The arugula added a nice touch.

Take it from someone who typically dislikes salad...this is a great recipe. I only gave it 4 stars because I made some changes to the recipe. I didn't have sesame or poppy seeds, so I made some candied pecans and almonds (throw them in a pan with sugar and a little water). I also did not have white wine vinegar, so I mixed half apple cider vinegar (all I had) with some red wine. I also replaced the 1/2 cup sugar with about 3 T honey. I didn't think the sugar would mix very well. The result was very delicious! I wasn't too sure about my vinegar/wine concoction, but it turned out great! Definitely will make again.

This salad was excellant as stated but the next time I made it I left out the sesame seeds and substituted 1/8 tsp. sesame oil and toasted almonds to the top and it was really outstanding. One of the best recipes I have tried on this website.

So good so fresh. Do not refrig the dressing. It gets hard, so only make what you are going to use right then. I did not mix in the dressing until ready to serve. It gets real broke down real quick. Beautiful and great flavor when fresh.
