I made this recipe exactly the way it was written. This recipe is fabulous, I have already had it 3 times this week.I did take another reviewers advice and placed the pita bread in the oven for 10 minutes prior to cooking and it was so nice & crispy.Don't skip the sun dried tomato pesto it really makes this recipe. Thanks so much for sharing this with us!

Though we make small pizzas quite often they have never been as good as these. I think the pesto really makes it. Yummmm!

Amazing! You can make this with so many different veggie combinations - I recently made these as an appetizer for a gathering- rave reviews! I used a creamy israeli feta cheese- very good! This recipe is so easy and yummy- I will be making again and again!

Fantastic taste, aroma, and appearance! I only had regular pesto but would love to try it with sun-dried tomato pesto. My only problem was trying to keep the toppings on while I cut and ate it!

I really loved this one. I pretty much followed the recipe- just adjusting it slightly to make it healthier. I piled on the veggies. Then I used reduced fat pesto and reduced fat feta cheese. I used a little less than what was called for for the pesto and olive oil. It was an easy meal to size down for 1 person and it was very filling. I will definitely be making this again soon- maybe even next week!

This was great...I didn't have pita bread so I mixed up some quick pizza dough and it turned out great. My lunch was the envy of the teachers' lounge.

Wow, this has alot of flavor! Instead of mushrooms I used Kalamata olives to make it more Greek. I also sprinkled freshly minced basil an top, used whole wheat pitas, and added parmesean with the feta. This is a recipe to keep! Yum!

Wow, this recipe is awesome! My husband loved it! Which is amazing because it's so hard to get him to eat anything even remotely healthy. This recipe is great how it is, which is why I gave it 5 stars, however I highly recommend adding grilled chicken like others suggested. I don't have a grill at the moment but I did cook a couple chicken breast in the skillet with a tabelspoon of butter and added it on top. Other then that I really didn't alter anything else.. and it was great!

Thanks Heatherbee! Loved it! I was looking for something to do with stale pita bread, what a find. (kudos all recipes, for having the ingredient look up!) I baked it for about 17 minutes. Unhappy with my grocery store, couldn't find any kind of pesto, so I used bruschetta tomato topping, & omitted the fresh tomato (since it was chunky). I think next time I will use thawed, well squeezed frozen spinach. It will be easier to "load" the stuff on top.

This was a really yummy recipe. The only thing that I didn't like on top of the pita was the sun-dried tomatoes. Otherwise, everything else worked like a charm. In fact, we added chunks of chicken to our pitas. YUM!

Pretty simple, fast, and delicious. Because I couldn't find pita bread at the grocery store that day I used little wheat "sandwich thins" instead, which turned out to have an amazing texture and soak in the pesto very well. Thanks for sharing!
