AMAZING. Just flat-out amazing. I cooked 4 chicken breasts but made enough of the "stuffing" for 5 and spread the extra on top. (No reason, just a whim!) Rave reviews all around!

very good recipe but made quite a few changes per other reviews suggestions and based on other high rated recipes. First, I marinated the chicken breasts in buttermilk for 3 hours outside of the fridge. I sauteed 1 bag of fresh spinach in butter and added salt and pepper. Then i mixed 2 parts mayo with 1 part sour cream, added sun dried tomatoes and cooked turkey bacon pieces. mixed together with feta and jack cheese and added garlic salt. I used thin chicken breasts and rather than butterflying the breasts, I just wrapped them around the stuffing and then put a peice of bacon and pinned them together. cooked in the oven for 45 minutes. came out fabulous!

I did exactly what it said, one hour is way too much! I left it in the oven for 35 min. The spinach and garlic is not a good combination, I'm not picky with food but gotta to say this recipe is not good!!!

Good solid recipe. Have so far made this twice and both times it turned out great - very tasty. (I admit I left off the bacon - a luxury I can't afford on a student budget - but the dish didn't seem to suffer for it at all.)

Love this recipe! I have made it before years ago and have recently rediscovered it. The recipe was great as is, only this time I took the advice of other reviewers and cooked bacon for about 1 min in the microwave and it crisp up nicely while baking. Thanks for a great recipe Laurie!

3 to 4 as is because 1) bacon does not cook up crisp when the chicken is done...cook the bacon long enough to crisp and the chicken is overdone; and 2) filling is a tad bland. Both were easily fixed by paritally pre cooking the bacon and I took the suggestion of a previous poster and subsituted ranch dressing for the mayo to add more herb flavor. When the bacon is pre cooked you don't have to cook the chicken forever to get the bacon done/keeps the chicken from getting overcooked. Family gave it the thumbs up though I think it could do with one more clove of garlic in it next time.

Good, but like other reviewers said a little dry! and needed more flavor! bacon didn't add much flavor to the chicken. Probably will not be making again.
