Improvised with some already thawed thin-cut round steak pieces that made short bracciole like rolls and baked them at 350. Finish them on broil. They were a little dry, being round steak and slightly overcooked. A little sauce of some kind would have solved this, but I loved this recipe. I'll try it again with the sirloin and the grill. The bacon is cooked first, so if you make the rolls a little less than well, there is nothing to worry about.

I thought the flavor was there, but it was hard to grill these since you were worried that the center wasn't cooked. Our outsides were really cooked almost dried out. Good flavor, but hard execution.

Made this tonight. Everyone in the family loved it. A couple adjustments that I made were to dust the meat with garlic salt instead of the regular salt before adding the filling. I also used fresh spinach, which was great. Also omitted the Cayenne because my 4 yr old won't eat it. Made it in the broiler. Delicious.
