Very good salad. Loved the fruit/bacon/veggie/seed combination. The dressing is a little sweet for me, but worked well with this - especially good when paired with the spicy Peppered Pork Tenderloin from this site. Thanks for the recipe!

This dressing has way too much sugar. And not from a healthy standpoint but with regards to taste. I love all things sweet but this is just too sugary for a salad dressing. The honey adds plenty of sweetness. I won't make this recipe again but if I did I would eliminate most if not all of the sugar.

This salad is so awesome! My family eats this salad AT LEAST once a week. We love it. We usually use a pear in the salad instead of an apple and we like soy nuts in it instead of sunflower kernels. We also don't use bacon. The dressing is really what makes it so good though!

This recipe is great. Made it exactly as written for Christmas. Got rave reviews. I made it again a few days later for another gathering. This time I omited the real bacon and used imatation bacon bits for the Vegetarians at the party. It was still great! The dressing is so tasty.

I wanted to love this, but I found the dressing to be bland. I don't think I would make this again.

I made the dressing only, but the salad is similar to other salads I've made over the years. I liked the dressing, but I think it needed a bit more seasoning. So next time I'll add more of the spices already called for--I just didn't really taste them. Bear in mind, though, I really like strong flavors. If you like very subtle, mild flavors this dressing does very well. Thanks for the recipe!

This is by far the best salad I have ever eaten. I have not only made it for my husband and our five children(who all love it), but also for dinner parties and holidays. This recipe is to die for! I will be making it for Thanksgiving this year.

This dressing is out of this world! I made a totally different salad with greens, citrus, apple, crisp radish and the dressing made it all work perfectly. There wasn't a person at the table who didn't rave about the dressing. Great job - thanks for the recipe!

I made this dressing and used it with a different spinach salad made with egg, tomatoes, bacon, cheddar, almonds, grilled chicken, croûtons and red onion. This was simply outstanding. The kind of salad that leaves you thinking about it for days later.
