Omitted the sugar and salt. Added fresh minced garlic and pepper. Great way to prepare green beans and cabbage too!

MMM, this southern flavor seems so simple, but I've had an awful time getting it right. This is it! Try it with the beet greens, that was the best!

This was tasty, but too salty. Bacon is already salty so the extra salt in the recipe is probably unnecessary. I will make this again, but will leave out the salt and then it will probably be a 4 star recipe. It is a very easy way to make spinach.

ok so I had some fresh spinach i needed to get rid of immediatly, and this almost too easy recipe was a hit!! The bacon makes it so yummy! And much to my suprise, the sugar really added something! I didnt modify anything, because well...it didnt need it! And anyway, i cant stand people who rate recipes and try to change them! Awesome side dish!
