Carrots, red pepper, onion and cumin make this dip nippy and colorful. Sour cream and mayonnaise make it creamy and dipable. No need to bake, keeps up to a week in the refrigerator.

I created this lighter version of a hot spinach dip after my husband and five kids raved about a similar appetizer at one of our favorite restaurants, says Debbie Marrone of Warner Robins, Georgia. TIP: It's great with tortilla chips, bagel chips or low-fat wheat crackers, Debbie suggests.

For a different take on traditional spinach dip, Janie Obermier of St. Joseph, Missouri warms this rich mixture in the microwave. It's terrific with crackers, tortilla chips or fresh vegetables.

Ultimate Spinach Dip

This is the ultimate spinach dip! It is made from fresh spinach leaves! I'm always asked to bring this along to major family events and, of course, during the holidays. It may be served at once, but tastes best when chilled for an hour. Serve with slices of sourdough baguettes.
