I had a bag of crab in the fridge...after cleaning, it turned out to be about a pound and a half and another half pound of shrimp to boot. I threw it all in.
This, of course, required an extra shot of worchestershire, another cup and a half of broth, and I added another couple shots of pepper sauce, a sprinkle of garlic, another bay leaf...just "upped" the important ingredients. At the end, I threw in a cup and a half of a milk/light cream/ half and half mixture.
It was beautiful. It was ridiculously delicious. It was almost 12 cups.
It was only 6 cups by the end of the night and we're only two skinny people.
No fail. Most of this stuff is already in your kitchen.
