"Put this in front of the guys during the next game and watch it disappear! It's easy to control the heat by removing the seeds and ribs (the whitish membrane inside the pepper) before dicing to result in a dip that is mild, medium, or hot and spicy, to suit your taste. For a mild dip, remove all seeds and ribs. For a very spicy dip, leave all the seeds and ribs intact. Serve with sliced sourdough baguettes."

1 (3 ounce) package
cream cheese, softened
fully cooked kielbasa sausage, diced
green onions, chopped
shredded Italian 6-cheese blend (such as Sargento® Chef Blends®)
jalapeno pepper, seeded and minced
Different, rich, and delicious! I used turkey kielbasa, low fat mayo and low fat cream cheese. I used pickled jalapeno rings chopped instead of a fresh jalapeno. It could have actually been a bit spicier for me personally. I also added a sprinkle of salt and pepper and used a 4 cheese pizza blend since I could not find the 6 cheese blend. Our company loved it served with pita and tortilla chips. No leftovers! Thanks!
Mine came out very greasy. Swimming in grease, actually. The flavor WAS delicious though. I think next time I'll change the way it's prepared, but definitely not the ingredients.
This dip was a huge hit at a 4th of July picnic. I doubled the recipe but did not double the jalapeno because we have several family members who don't do heat very well. Next time I'm making a "whimpy" batch and a "real" batch with extra jalapeno. Because I doubled it, it took a little longer in the oven to heat through. I got asked to make it again for the next function. Also, my brother seems to think that this recipe with a few additions (bacon and either chicken broth or cream to thin it out) would make an excellent soup. Anybody try that yet?
My boys loved this-it was gone in minutes! I didn't have the cheese blend called for, so I just used grated cheddar with a little parmesan. Also, someone mentioned that it was greasy-I used leftover kielbasa so the grease had already cooked out of it. If I didn't have leftover, I would just fry up the diced pieces first to remove some of the fat and then add it to the dip.
We LOVED this! Made it just as written, and feel no changes are needed...the flavor is really just fantastic! A BIG hit, and a keeper, for sure~YUM! Thanks for sharing, Valerie! :)
Made this twice, experimenting both times. Reading the reviews, I first cooked the sausage a bit to remove some of the fat. Another change we made was to use Greek Yogurt in place of the mayonnaise. It was OUTSTANDING!!
Great simple recipe. I was worried it would be a bit overwhelming with so much mayo and cream cheese but, it was smooth and easy to eat with lots of flavor. PRO TIP use this dip with eggs in the morning; also mix a few spoon fulls into GRITS. SOOOOOOO Tasty. This simple dip could be used for a lot of different things.
I've made this for several years with jalapeño kielbasa (like it spicy), 3kinds of cheeses, then after cooking I top it off with a thin layer of raspberry chipolte sauce. Killer at parties.
