The nice thing about this recipe is that the dish doesn't taste burnt even though you can get a nice blackened look. The sugar and the thyme caramelize and give it a wonderful flavor. All my friends love it.

Italian Seasoning I

Submitted by: Suzanne
Excellent seasoning for all recipes that call for italian seasoning, I like to use it for just about everything Italian or not! Store in an airtight container; it keeps for about 12 weeks. You can use fresh herbs you dry yourself, or store bought dried herbs - of course, the ones you grow and dry yourself are better!

Chicken, steak or venison will benefit from a bath in this dark, spicy sauce. Increase the amounts of Worcesterchire and soy sauces up to 1/3 cup, and use ketchup to taste. This is a sauce you're sure to love!

Carol's Spicy BBQ Sauce

Submitted by: Carol Branson
This is a recipe for spicy barbeque sauce. I let meat set overnight in the sauce. It makes a great marinade sauce. Its really spicy so if you don't like it so spicy leave out the pepper flakes. This also helps as a meat tenderizer. Enjoy!

Use this dry rub on your favorite meat before grilling. It stores well in an airtight container, and I've had a lot of positive feedback no matter what I cook it on.

This Creole seasoning blend is great for seasoning rice, meats, soups and stews, or anything that needs a flavor boost. Also makes a great gift when placed in a decorative jar with recipe attached.

Whether you're monitoring your sodium intake or not, you'll want to try this robust rub on fish, poultry or pork. Or fill a shaker with this savory blend to sprinkle on veggies. 'This seasoning rub is great, especially on grilled pork chips,' says Jacqueline Thompson Graves of Lawrenceville, Georgia.
