Absolutely yummy! Everyone (even the picky eaters) loved this! Easy and fast to prepare as well! Just used double the spice mix (_N_O_T_ the oil!!!)

Grilled the chicken, then cooked in skillet with doubled batch of sauce for 5 minutes. My husband said he couldn't think of a more delicious chicken dish! My kids, usually very picky, ate it up too.

Very good recipe, very enjoyable. I made it into a marinade with 3 tbsp of orange juice as well. I omitted the oil & butter. Marinated for an hour and grilled on the BBQ. One of our fav's!

This is a great easy chicken recipe that is a hit every time! I use this recipe for 2 chicken breasts instead of 4. I always use fresh minced garlic instead of powder, double the cayenne (we like heat!), and add chopped cilantro then let it all marinade in a ziploc bag for 3-4 hours before cooking. After the chicken is done cooking, I remove the breasts and add sliced onions to the pan, saute until tender, then add a cornstarch slurry to make a gravy to top the chicken served over cilantro rice. Yum!

Yum! A great way to spice up chicken, goes great with veggies. I have made it a handful of times already and just started to add the thyme since I did not have it on hand at first. It is good with or without the thyme.

Delicious! It's not too spicy, but has delicious flavor. Instead of cooking it in all that butter and oil, I put it on a sheet of foil that I sprayed with cooking spray on my indoor grill. I sprayed both sides of the chicken and then sprinkled the spices on top. After cooking on both sides I drizzled the lime juice over it and then added a few shakes of the garlic powder. Yum!!

My fiance and I LOVED this recipe! I wish I could give it more than 5 stars! I followed the recipe pretty close, only doubling the amount of seasonings and adding a little chicken broth per other reviews and WOW it was soo good! I chopped up the chicken and added it and the sauce from the pan to some pasta...Yum!

I was using this to teach my 12 year old son an easy recipe. We put the spices on the chicken and were getting ready to put it in the pan when Dad changed our plans. So we threw the chicken into a ziplock bag for a few hours and when we got home, Dad decided to teach the 12 year old how to grill it instead. It turned out AMAZING. My 10 year old who avoids all meat as though it is evil, said it was good and he would eat it again. WOW. We did pour a little bit of lemon juice into the ziplock bag with the chicken and they put a small pat of butter on the chicken just before they took it off the grill. Easy and tasty recipe. Thanks!

Fantastic as written. I also tried it, per another reviewer, mixing the seasonings and adding 1 Tbsp lime juice to make a paste and rubbed under the skin of bone in breasts and then grilled, also excellent. And, per another reviewer, made the Spicy Cilantro Dressing also from this site to go with the chicken - great! Thanks

used chicken thighs, covered with the spice rub, then browned in olive oil and butter. Added a splash of tequila and about 1/2 cup chicken broth, fresh garlic, lime juice then finsihed baking in the oven! Very moist and great sauce!

excellent recipe! I would make more spice rub. the amount the recipe calls for was barely enough for 3 breasts. Also, the butter-oil sauce dries up as the chicken cooks, so I would add more butter and oil as needed.

This was a really good recipe. I made double the amount of chicken breasts, and didn't really measure out the spices. All I know is that I doubled the spices for the first four, ran out and then made my own concoction. I used fresh garlic, fresh onions as well as the powders. I fried in butter for quite awhile and added some chicken broth too. I wasn't satisfied they were cooked so threw them into the oven at 350 for about 10 minutes. Oh, and I put a lot of garlic powder on them before that. They turned out perfectly and the flavor was great. I served the chicken with some brown rice and corn on the cob and my husband raved about it. This is a keeper.

I liked this I changed a little because we like real stuff. I also cooked on the stove in a dutch oven. I added ingredients changes were real garlic, parsley, two sweet chili peppers and scallions no butter. All other ingredients I used. So glad I did not juice a second lemon. This was very good I will try again as a grilled chicken marinade. I can imagine it would be five stars.

Great recipe. I have substituted chili powder for cayenne when I was out. It still turned out good. Prefer chicken thighs over breasts for this recipe. They don't dry out as much.

This was perfect, and we can't wait to make again. Started the chicken in pan on stove, but DH was late coming home from work, so I put in 300 degree oven for 15 minutes and turned to "WARM" setting for another 15 minutes. I thought it would be dried out, but chicken breasts were extremely juicy and flavorful.

Love it as did my husband. I agree that it helps to add liquid. I added chicken stock as it cooked and then later added some wine. I think next time I might end the cooking of it as a chicken piccata. Remove the chicken, add some wine and lime juice and maybe a bit of corn starch or flour to thicken the sauce a bit. The flavors were great, though. I have added this to my "make again" list.
