It was good. I added a TB of corn meal to the spice mixture and it crisped up nicely. Perhaps my chicken breasts were thicker than what the recipe expects as they were not done in 20 minutes. Good quick recipe.

I also doubled the amount of spice rub. This chicken had great flavor and was moist when it was still a breast. I decided to shred it and make chicken tacos, like other viewers suggested, but the chicken dried up. It was still very good in a tortilla shell with sour cream, salsa, avacados, lettuce, and tomatoes. But overall, ill try making this again just as a breast with rice and veggies. Thanks!

Hmmmmm. Made this for dinner tonight. While my bf and I both liked it, we didn't LOVE it. It did smell great while sauteeing though.... I ended up purchasing a package of 3 lg. chicken breasts, but the amounts of spice and lime were for 4 (as called for). Served over Knorr brand garlic herb rice with Mexican Corn (by KBALDRIDGE) on the side. I think this might be good cubed into bite-sized pieces and served in soft corn tortillas with all the toppings, sort of like a lime chicken taco. Next time, I'll prepare that way (and maybe it'll get one more star for doing so...). Thanks for sharing!

This is a wonderful recipe. I added just a little more cayenne because we are a spicy family....anywho, i used thick chicken breast, so i cooked covered until cooked through to avoid the outside getting browned to fast, then uncovered and let brown. Careful, this chicken can easily go from nicely browned to blackened because of the seasonings so watch toward the end. The lime was a great touch, thanks for the recipe!

One of my top 3 go-to dishes. I've been making it for years in a million different ways. Serve it with rice, as a sandwich, or cut in strips and wrapped in a flour tortilla.

I only made two breasts and there still wasn't a lot of sauce. I did add the chicken stock to the pan to make more sauce. All in all pretty good. Especially easy to make for two with now leftovers.

Quick, easy and DELICIOUS! Simple recipe and wouldn't change anything. Served with the sauteed spinach and portabello mushrooms from this site. Great healthy combo!

My husband and I love this dish and never get tired of it. I followed the advice of others and doubled the butter/olive oil. Also, I usually use a little less than the called for lime juice. 3 T. was a little overpowering for us. I also found that if you cook the lime juice mix. more than 5 minutes, you don't have much of a sauce. So stick to the 5 minutes. It's a great chicken dish!

I have been making this for a few years now, but have never commented on it. It is an absolutely delicious, very flavorful, and tangy dish. It has just enough of a kick without overpowering the recipe. Thank you!

A very tasty blend of spices and herbs. I opted for grilling the chicken on my indoor grill instead of frying it in the pan. I brushed the meat with the sauce frequently to keeping it from drying up. I served this dish with a side of cremini mushroom rice. Delicious! The only variation I would make next time, would be to add a little more cayenne pepper for an extra kick. Very simple and tasty chicken recipe, that is also healthy.

It was too 'limey' and it tasted burnt and really sour to me even though it was not burnt. I will not make this again.

My husband made this tonight for dinner and two of my 3 boys really liked it and my eldests' friend asked for 3rds! The lime juice really has a great tang and creates a glaze over the chicken. We have one little, measely piece of chicken left that my husband is going to shred for nachos or quesadillas later tonight!

Awesome chicken recipe! A made a few minor modifactions - I cooked the chicken in 2 tbs of EVOO. I added 1 tbs of butter when I added the lime juice at the end. Chicken had just the right amount of heat from the cayenne pepper - just enough to add a little kick. Loved the tang from the lime juice! This recipe is a keeper! I'll be making again soon!

I adore this recipe! You can almost completely eliminate the butter and olive oil. I put about a teaspoon of olive oil in a spritzer and spray a non-stick skillet, however any cooking spray would work. I've subbed fresh garlic for the powder but either way, this chicken rocks!
