Best turkey burger ever! I am a big fan of chipotle chili's in adobo sauce. I have turned on all of my friends to this burger. Full of flavor. I used provolone cheese and it was a hit. Look up other recipes with the chili's in it so you can use up the rest of the chili's and the sauce. Check your international isle (if you have one) at your grocery store. They are usually sold in a 7 oz can in the Mexican section.

Love this recipie. Like the substitution of ground turkey over beef. The only issue I have is that it was hard to find some of the spices at my grocery store. I ended up buying Mccormick dry seasoning pack called Chipotle Pepper and it is awesome. I still use fresh chopped red onion and cilantro...so if anyone struggles with finding or buying a ton of seasonings this is a good substitution!

MMMMMM, so good! We love turkey burgers and tend to eat them way more than beef ones, so I love trying different variations. I actually ran out of 'real onion' so threw in a 3 onion dried blend that I have and used 2 cloves of fresh garlic instead of the powder. I left out the seasoning salt and since we don't like cilantro, I added some fresh basil. Used 1 1/2 chipotle peppers (removing some of the seeds) and threw in a good sprinkling of panko breadcrumbs to help bind as some of my turkey was still a bit frozen. We did not find these too spicy at all, would up the chipotle next time or just not take out as many seeds, but there will defintiely be a next time!

Absolutely Fabulous!! actually deserves more stars! i am not a huge fan or turkey burgers, but my husband is. So i decided to try and find a recipe for turkey burgers that i could enjoy as well. the flavors that come out of this burger are so insane! i followed the reciped with the exception of the onion, didn't have any so i used chives from our garden. topped it with a home-made chipotle mayo and it was great. it would be a great burger choice for a BBQ. if all turkey burgers could taste this good...i'd never go back to beef :)

I think having real minced garlic instead of powder would be great. It was soooo tasty!! I paired it with the chipotle mayo from here. Soooo good.

I use green onions instead of regular onions and saute them a little until they are soft. Then on top of the Mozzarella (or cheddar) we put a slice of crispy turkey bacon. My husband says these are his favorite summer meal. They are fantastic.

I'm vegetarian, but I made these for my family. My husband said they were restaurant quality, and we have made them several times. They smell delicious.

Very good! I halved the recipe, but since I added a few finely minced mushrooms, I treated the recipe like three servings when I added seasonings. I did add an extra chipotle pepper and for me and my spice loving husband, it was a bit much. So next time, more chipotle than the recipe calls for, but only about 2 times as much, not 4 times! This burger will definitely be worked into the rotation. Delicious.

This is a great recipe! My husband and I enjoyed our burgers. As some of the previous reviews stated, I would add another chipotle pepper for a little more spice, and I eliminated the water and made various other substitutions. Instead of cooking on an outdoor grill we used the George Foreman. I did add shredded mozzarella to the center of some of the burgers and that was nice added surprise for my husband. I will definitely be making this again!

It was really good. I used about 5 tablespoons cilantro and would use even more next time. They didn't have the chipotle chili's at my local grocery stores so I used jalapenos and Adobo Criollo sauce. It probably would have been better using the right stuff but it was still good. I served it w/ mayo but it was way better when we added ketchup and a tomato to it as well. I think it would be awesome with a spicy guacamole, I will definitely do that next time. I also put the mozzarella in between 2 small patties turning them into one large one and it was very good like that. I will use more than 1 teaspoon of cheese inside next time though. Oh yeah, I also added 1 teaspoon of cumin which was a wonderful touch. all in all, it is a very good recipe!
