It was okay. I took the recommendation of others and cut down on the cayenne. Glad I did. A little salty for me too. It was good, but I have had a lot better. Thanks for sharing though.

Don't care for thyme so I omitted it completely. All the spices gave my chicken a good spicy kick. Husband loved it!!!

This was amazing. Instead of using it as a rub, I put the spices and chicken into a gallon sized zip-lock bag with olive oil as a marinade. If you like it spicy, this is the recipe to use.

This was an excellent chicken dish. It was good and spicy! I served it with a salad so that helped reduce the heat. I will absolutely make this again!

I used this rub first on chicken breasts as the recipe suggested & loved the zing, so I have since used it on chicken burgers & calamari rings. It can be put on anything that you would like to add a bit of heat to.

This was a nice and spicy recipe. I served the chicken over white rice, which served to tone down some of the kick. There was plenty of seasoning left over that I plan to use on grilled veggies.

WOO!! Spicy! We loved it! Very good flavor, but if you don't enjoy spicy foods I would cut back or even omit the cayenne pepper.

Who would have thought such a simple mixture would be so great?! I didn't have thyme, but it still turned out excellent. I rubbed it on some talapia and then pan-fried it. It is kind of like a "blackened" flavor. We didn't think it was too spicy, but we love hot food. I can't wait to make it again, this time with the thyme. Delicious.

I cut the cayenne pepper in half and it was still way too hot for me and I love spicy foods! My husband liked it but he ate the chicken inbetween 2 slices of bread.

This was great! I made it exactly as the recipe stated except I grilled on my George Foreman and then sliced the chicken and topped it on a salad. The chicken was so so so good!. It was defintely HOT but I loved it. It was perfect on top of a big salad. The chicken was juicy and flavorful and I can't wait to make it again.

This was the first dry rub I had ever used and it was pretty good. Not as spicy as other reviews said but then again, I like things really HOT!! It was a great dry rub none the less! Will definately make again! Thank you! :D

boyfriend loved the spice rub, I've used it on chicken and steak. I didn't have onion powder so I used more garlic powder and I was out of cayenne so I just used chili powder. Thanks for the recipe! update: I keep a little container of this and use it on everything! I've added it to a chicken tenders recipe on here, to burgers, pork, always goes over great!

Delicious... perfect for a wrap with a little garlic mayo. I was surprise how well the rub coated the chicken and the strong flavor. Didn't have any onion powder but still fab.

This was not so delish. I made the recipe as written, and the chicken was so spicy my husband and I couldn't eat it. And we like spicy food! I told my husband I'd make it again sometime without so much heat, and he told me not to bother. I'm glad I tried it though!
