Very tasty! Like some other people I did reduce the cayenne pepper by 1/2 but followed exactly the rest. A great all-purpose sprinkle or rub.

This was *really* good. Husband wanted something spicy and this fit the bill. Plus I had all the ingredients on hand! I used about 1/2 the amount of cayenne pepper powder and it was plenty spicy. Our two teen boys weren't keen on it (I don't know why... they eat raw onions but don't like spicy food?!), but I am planning to make this one again, especially since the recipe made enough for several more grilling nights! Thanks for posting!

This was definately a kick to the taste buds. Nice and spicy, but I felt that it was missing something. I served it with barbeque sauce and it was a good combination. Would probably make again.

This was absolutely wonderful! First, I flattened my chicken breasts, added the rub, grilled them up and let them cool down. Once cool, I cut them into strips and ate them alongside "Minty Orzo Lentil and Feta Salad" and it made the perfect picnic combo, and leftovers for lunch at work. Great recipe Barbara!

Great dish! I added a little less paprika and cayenne pepper than the recipe called for, but I think it still would have been delicious if I had used the same measurements listed in the recipe. I'm definitely making this again!

Wow wow wow!!!! This chicken was delicious and flavorful. We didn't have the time to cook on a grill, so instead we cooked in the oven at 350 for 40 minutes or so. It was just delicious with green beans and mashed potatoes.

This recipe was amazing! I did scale back the cayenne pepper to three quarters of a tablespoon, but other than that it was wonderful!

This was a huge hit with my family. Followed directions to the letter and it was excellent. It is not for the faint of heart, this is very spicy, but that is how we prefer it. I will definitely make this again.

These just hit the spot. I was looking for something spicy and it did the trick; not overly spicy but enough to give you that "pow!" Fast and easy to make.

I've made this meal two times and I love it. I think next time I will make it with the olive oil though. If you had a mouth for hot stuff this is it. I love this chicken and add extra cayenne to it. The family loved it and I will be making this for years to come :)

Very nice, simple and clean taste. A few things need adjustment, though; Omit the salt - trust me. Also, this is quite spicy (which I love), so for those who aren't big fans of burning mouths, cut the cayenne in half, or 1/3 if you are really scared. Several other reviewers did not like the thyme, but I think that is what really cleans up the flavor and makes it stand out from plain spicy to a tasty spicy. Great on shrimp, too!

I used all the ingredients, except the salt – there is enough sodium in the recipe already. I did not use a grill, as it was about 12 degrees outside and I didn’t feel like bundling up! I put some extra virgin olive oil in a pan, flash fried the chicken on High for 2 minutes on each side, while covered. Then I turned the heat down to medium-low and cooked both sides, checking the centers every couple minutes. I had a light Cesar Salad mix and some garlic bread to go with the chicken. Was a fantastic dinner, my husband loved it (he likes spicy food) and while I was worried it would be too spicy for me, the bread and salad really helped ‘cool’ it down and I had no trouble eating it. Thanks so much for posting this recipe!

SPICY! This recipe had great flavor, the only thing different I will do the next time is cut the thyme in half, or just not use it, it tends to be a little overpowering.

Spicy is certainly a good way to describe this recipe! Some spicy dishes do not live up to their name; thankfully this is not one of them. I love spicy food and this was right up my alley! The only change I made was to bake them in the oven as I do not have a grill. The dish uses a great combination of seasonings and is fantastic!

This is a great recipe to work with! As other readers mentioned, I left out the Thyme and the Salt as 1 tablespoon of salt is far too much sodium! use onion salt instead of onion powder and it satisfies the sodium cravers out there. Great flavour on chicken but we also used it on Butterfly Pork Chops with fantastic results! Hubby and I love heat so the more the merrier! Thanks Barb for creating and sharing a great rub recipe!
