Sooo good! Just be careful! Its HOTT!! I'll lay off on the cayenne pepper a bit next time to get a little more of the other flavors.

Great recipe! We decreased the salt and added chili powder in place of the cayenne, fresh garlic and onion instead of powder. Served with cheese grits and a salad and it was excellent! Will definitely be making it again.

We really enjoyed this, thanks! I did make quite a few changes though: I doubled the seasonings since I wanted to make 1 lb. of shrimp (although that wasn't necessary since it made so much leftover seasoning!) used 1 tsp salt (4 is ridiculous!), left out the white pepper b/c I didn't have it, added about 1 tsp of lime juice, and threw in about 2 tsp of creole seasoning. I first made them under the broiler, but they broiled very inconsistently, although I left them there for about twice as long as I was supposed to. I made the remaining shrimp on the grill pan, and will make them on that in the future. Thanks!

This recipe was pretty good... I did decrese the salt like others suggested. I thought it needed something acidic though like maybe a little lemmon or lime juice in the marinade as well! Everyone gobbled them up quick quick though!

The first time I made this I really didn't care for it. I did not like the flavor of the thyme or oregano at all. I made it again without those 2 ingredients, lessened the salt to 1 tbsp, and added a pinch of chipotle and some Emeril seasoning. Much better! I also added a little extra oil to the seasoned mix because I thought the shrimp were too saturated with seasoning the first time. That helped a lot.

I used half the salt and wrapped the shrimp in a half a slice of bacon before grilling. My family loved this recipe!

Definitely need to use less salt. I am that person that "over-salts" everything and it was too much for me. I wasn't able to finish eating it. Maybe salt to taste after it is cooked.

it's great, but decrease the amount of salt to better taste the other flavors and so not to be overwhelmed by the consuming salty flavor and need to drink 5 gallons of crystal clear mountain spring California water.
