We loved this simple to make yet oh-so-yummy salsa! The changes I made(due mostly to what I had on hand) were minced garlic instead of garlic salt, using 2 cans Rotel, half the amount of Italian dressing and adding some fresh squeezed lime juice. Will be making this often!

This is an excellent recipe and with the help of other reviewers suggestions along with my own secret additions it is so outstanding I have been told I should bottle it. Definitely one to try.

This was very good. I took it to a family gathering over Christmas. I did some things differently. I used mexican canned tomatoes, added corn (tex-mix) already had bell peppers in can. Also added some fresh cilantro. Added minced garlic. Everyone raved about how good it was. Thanks. for a great recipe. !!

YUMM-O!!!!!! I just made this and it is heavenly! The flavors haven't even "melded" yet!! My kids are going to love it so I'm going to have to keep them out of it because I am taking it to a party! I liked how inexpensive it is for how much it makes! And it is very pretty, what with all the colors of the ingredients. I accidently bought italian diced tomatoes but I just rinsed them. I was worried about using them but they are fine!!

I thought this was just average. It was fine, just didn't wow anyone. I didn't like the Italian dressing personally; would have rather used some fresh garlic, cilantro, olive oil and lime juice. I think that would draw out the flavors more than mask them. It was pretty to look at but bland to my palette.

This was very bland, it doesn't taste fresh nor is it 'spicy'. It is nothing but can of beans covered by italian dressing...then is it italian dip or mexican? Wouldn't recommend.

Thank you, Susan. And "Ditto" to those who gave this 5 stars. This is a souped up version of Georgia caviar (also on this site). Being a member of the "Some Like It Hot" club the only thing I ever change is to use serrano peppers or, when I'm feeling bulletproof, habaneros. Nothing I can add to almost 700 rave reviews. Just wanted to join the choir and to say "Thanks".

I made this last night for a party. What a hit! I only made a couple of adjustments. I increased the garlic salt to about a tsp. I also used fresh Roma tomatoes instead of canned. I added a bit of fresh cilantro as well. Very very good recipe. Thanks for sharing. I will definetely be making this one again!

This is a VERY good recipe. I've added and taked awayfrom it to fit whomevers taste...but the basic recipe with the italian dressing and garlic salt is sooo yummy. My favorite offshoot consists of black beans garbanzo beans corn tomatoes cilantro onion frest jalapenos dressing garlic salt and cumin!!

I had a few poeple over for dinner and made this as an appetizer..I had to fill the dip bowl twice and there were only five of us! I substituted fresh jalapenos instead of canned. It was definitely spicy.

I followed the recipe in the rating section that didn't have Italian cheese... but lemon juice, salt, pepper and cilantro. Absolutely fabulous. I think I may always keep some of this in the fridge for those days I want a snack.

People at work loved this. Instead of Italian dressing I add a clove of minced garlic, the juice of one lime and a handful of cilantro, chopped - doesn't need all the added fat you get when you add oil contained in Italian dressing.

WOW!!!! This is the best salsa I have had in years! The texture is great, fresh cilantro smells awesome. I made it for a party of about 40 people and they all raved about it. I did get one or two people that asked me next time to not put in the green peppers, they were just to crunchy. Also one more thing that I might add if you are making this I would let a little of your juice in there from your tomatoes to make it a little more runny! By far the best salsa!

Fantastic! I made it just like it is (minus the green bell peppers as no one in the house likes them). Everyone loves this recipe from my husband to my youngest child. I took it to a party last night and it went over well there too.
