This was great! I only used 2 large sweet potatoes, but the same amount of seasoning. We loved it, and plan on making it again!

These were good but not great. Maybe we use smaller servings but we thought it made enough for 8. Thanks for sharing.

These were great. I used olive oil and also cooked them at a lower temperature as suggested in earlier reviews. I served them with baby back ribs and a salad. They were the perfect compliment. My husband loved them!

Went very well with my turkey burgers the other night. I too experienced mushy fries, however I don't know that there is a remedy without frying (for sweet potatoes, anyway)! I added some cumin to the mix and thought these were fantastic. Thank you!

I used the exacts on this recipes except i also changed the temp to 400 and i only baked them for about 15 min on each side. My husband loved them and they seemed to be the perfect combo of soft and crisp.

My boyfriend and I love these. I cook them on 375 for about 40-45 minutes, turning occassionally. I don't use the taco seasoning, just a mix of spices, garlic, chili, etc. No, they don't get super crunchy like french fries, but they aren't fried.

Not sure what I did wrong, but I thought these were gross. The kid ate them right up and my boyfriend didn't mind them though. I may try the recipe with regular potatoes and see if that makes a difference.

I took the advice of other reviews and lowered the temp, reduced cooking time and used less taco seasoning than the original recipe called for. I wish I had followed the recipe because they weren't at all crispy or spicy. However, they were still very tasty. I will make them again, but will follow the original instructions.

As per previous reviewers stated lower oven temp--I also changed spices up and have been making them as potato round with my crinkle cutter for years using just enough olive oil to toss with paprika spinkled on (sounds odd but its good!) have also just used french fry seasoning on them. Dunk in ketchup as desired! I swear by using Reynolds non stick foil and can get by with less olive oil--they get crisp faster with less oil and less baking!

My husband loves these and asks for them all the time. I didn't have taco seasoning so I used cumin. Tasted great to me. Also, yes they are not too crunchy so I just call them, "FORK FRIES". No complaints only raves.

These were very tasty with just olive oil drizzled on them and kosher salt as another reviewer suggested. The cooking time was just right at 400 degrees for the first 20 mins and 425 for an additional 15. Keep an eye on them as they can burn very quickly. My son loved them and so did I.

I considered other reviewers suggestions and cooked these 20 mins at 400 and 30 mins at 425. Most of them were crispy around the edges and they tasted wonderful!

These are very good. The only change I made was to lower the temperature as suggested by others....but still ended up with burnt fries. So - watch them carefully. Mine went from ok to burnt in a matter of minutes. Some were salvageable and were GREAT! I think I'll try with cinnamon and sugar next time. Will definately make again.

My husband and I love sweet potatoes, and this was a nice change from traditional ways of cooking them. The flavor was wonderful but, the cooking temperature was way to high, and way too long. I wished I'd listened to other reviewers and reduced the temperature. There were done and burned at 425 degrees, but there were some that were salvageable. I couln't imagine cooking them for the entire hour at this temp. They were good enough that I would definitely make again, but at a lower temperature and less cooking time.

I agree with other reviewers: a great side dish if you make a few adjustments. I used 3 average sweet potatoes, 1-2 T. oil, 2 T. taco seasoning and the recommended amount of cayenne (1/4 t.). I tried following another reviewer's suggestion to bake at 400 for 20 min., then 425 for about 20 more. They didn't turn out crisp like french fries and were starting to burn, but the flavor was awesome and my husband and I loved them anyway! I will definitely make them again; but next time I will try baking them at a higher temp for a shorter time.

I substituted olive oil for the canola oil and used about half of what the recipe called for. I did not have taco seasoning, so just used sea salt, pepper and cayenne. These were a hit with my husband!

In my experience, sweet potato fries have to be cooked at a much higher temp than this- like 500 for 30 minutes and flipped a few times to ensure even cooking. Otherwise, they won't get at all crispy. Like another reviewer, I have never seen "small" sweet potatoes, so I too used two large ones. The flavor was great though. I will make again, just with the baking temp and time tweaked a bit.
