I made battered fried pork chops tonight using the batter in this recipe and they turned out great. The only ingredient I didn't have was celery salt. Best fried pork chops I've ever made! My husband LOVED them and he can be very picky. Didn't think we would like the ketchup, brown sugar mixture over top; I'm going to make this again soon and follow recipe exact just to see. Thanks for the recipe!

We really enjoyed these pork chops. They were reallly delicious and were juicy not dry. I did not change a thing to this recipe. It is great as is....

Very good! I followed the ingredient list exactly, but after I browned the chops I put them in the slow cooker on low with the sauce for about 6 hours. They were very tender and my husband loved them!!

Made the recipe as directed except I thought cooking the chops at 350 degrees for an hour was a little long. I wanted to roast asparagus so I cooked the chops at 400 for 25 minutes and they came out perfect. I agree with the other reviewers about the ketchup. Would definitely make this one again but maybe use the wine as suggested.

This should be called Sweet Spiced Pork Chops! Although very good, more sweet than spicy. But we all loved it! I did use red wine in place of the ketchup. And I did use the reserved liquid, added milk and a little flour to make a gravy.( As another poster commented on) The flavor reminded me a little of Chinese spare ribs.

I made this for dinner tonight. I thought is was pretty good but it was still a bit too sweet for me. I only used about 2 tablespoons of ketchup and replaced the rest with about 2/3 cup of red wine. I think that I will make this again but I will cut back on the brown sugar a little bit. It was a good recipe but I need to play with it a bit to get it just right for my taste.

This is fantastic. Finally, a sure way to have moist pork chops. Be sure to use a 13 x 9 pan. If you go bigger, the sauce will dry out. Too small and the chops will not take on the jelly like coating. Everyone will eat these, including children. Thanks for good recipe.

Get rid of the Ketchup, add a cooking Sherry or Red wine. Then after cooking remove Pork Chops. Pur Reserve into skillet and add 1/4 milk and slowy add 1/2 cup of flour stirring constantly over low heat to make an awesome gravy

Okay, these were great! I just made them for dinner and my husband and I both really enjoyed them. I was a little unsure how it would taste with ketchup so I added just a little less than what it called for--it turned out wonderful--will make again for sure!!!

Based on some of the other users' feedback about the sauce being too "ketchupy", I made some changes. I added about 1 tbls of Worchertershire (or however you spell it) and a splash of hot sauce. I also placed thinly sliced onions on top of the pork chops in the pan before pouring the sauce over the chops. To the dry ingredients, I added some cayanne pepper to give it some flair. We really enjoyed this recipe (but because of all the changes, I can only give 4 stars). Will definately make again!!

We had it and loved it. One hour was a bit long because the sauce was rather dried up but noone seemed to mind. It was very flavorfull, not just ketchupy. Even my 3 and 5 year old asked for more.

We've enjoyed this recipe time and time again. The sauce tastes more like a sweet BBQ sauce to us and is great served with rice. Thanks for the recipe.
