Spiced Pecans

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 cups pecan halves
  • 1/4 cup butter or margarine
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground cloves

DIRECTIONS

  1. In a skillet over low heat, toast pecans in butter for 15 minutes or until lightly browned, stirring often. Drain on paper towels. In a bowl, combine the sugar and spices. Add pecans and toss to coat. Spread on a foil-lined baking sheet. Bake at 325 degrees F for 10 minutes. Cool. Store in an airtight container.

Just made these for the first time. Excellent!! Will use this recipe for all family holidays, lunch snacks and gift giving. You'd better make a big batch, they don't last long! Thanks so much!!!

Wonderful! The clove gives this recipe and extra holiday punch. Made this today(double recipe)to have for Christmas family gathering. Will have to make more because I can't keep my husband out of them.
