Spiced Honey Pretzels
SUBMITTED BY:
Mary Lou Moon
"If your tastes run to sweet and spicy, you'll love Mary Lou Moon's zesty pretzels with a twist. The coating is so yummy, you won't need a fattening dip to enjoy them! 'They're a great snack for munching, without feeling a bit guilty,' writes the Beaverton, Oregon reader."

Very nice recipe when you have a ton of left over pretzels! Its great as is, but also with taco seasoning instead of the chili powder. This is a great 'family' type recipe....the old and young will like it.

Love it and it's been a hit at several get-togethers! I increased the margarine to 1 Tbsp and cooled on the pan as well, but I also added 1/4 tsp of cayenne pepper and 1/4 tsp celery salt. Gives it an extra kick!

These have a very different taste... but yummy. Even my very picky 3yr old daughter loved them. Will definately make again. Thanks for this tasty twist on ordinary pretzels.

I had my doubts, reading the ingredients, but I was pleasantly surprised by the end result. I use a little more butter or margarine (more like a tablespoon or so), and I put the butter/margarine and honey in the microwave for maybe ten seconds to make it easier to mix. Oh, and instead of cooling the pretzels on a wire rack, I just let them cool on the baking sheet, mixing every few minutes until cool. They separate easily and there are less dishes to worry about! My three-year old daughter looooves these! Thanks for sharing, Mary Lou!

These weren't nearly what I had hoped- a little bland, actually! Sorry to give it a low mark- just trying to save someone time if they are looking for more of a flavor punch.

Tasty and good, but not 'to die for'. I'm looking for THE ultimate pretzel recipe, but i liked that it had a kick with a sweeter aftertaste
