Ingredients

  • 8 Granny Smith apples
  • 2 tablespoons white sugar
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice
  • 1/4 cup cinnamon red hot candies

Directions

  1. Peel, core, and slice apples.
  2. Place all ingredients in microwave-safe bowl. Microwave on high for 15 minutes, stirring each 5 minutes.
  3. Cover with plastic wrap and let cool or serve warm.
