Sparkling Oranges
SUBMITTED BY:
Janie Bush
"We were living in Texas when I found the recipe for this simple yet elegant salad. I was thrilled-- we had a surplus of fresh oranges! Since it's prepared ahead, there's no last-minute fuss."

I made this for an office breakfast and it was a huge hit. Instead of all oranges I did a mixture of oranges, grapefruit and tangerines. I love this recipe and will definitely keep making it.

This recipe is divine but I skipped the sugar. It definitely did not need it. It makes an especially refreshing cooler with Mexican, Spanish or Tex Mex buffets

If I could give 6 stars, I would! Every time I make this, people rave and want the recipe. I double the "marinade" so that it comes up to the top of the oranges in the bowl. Sugar is totally optional. I usually cut the segments into thirds or fourths, so it's more bite sized pieces. Serve COLD, and the word everyone uses is "refreshing"! Thank you so much for this wonderful recipe!!!
