Spanish Rice Dinner
SUBMITTED BY:
Jeri Dobrowski
"'Spanish Rice Dinner has been a family favorite since I discovered it in our church cookbook,' says field editor Jeri Dobrowski of Beach, North Dakota. 'I always have the ingredients on hand, and it reheats very well in the microwave.'"

Great Recipe. The only change that I made was to add 2 cups of water (one initially and one about 15 minutes later) as a previous reviewer suggested. Thanks for sharing this one!

I have tried many recipes from this site and this one has been the only one so far that I did not like. It did not have enough flavor. I won't make it again

We both loved this recipe. The only thing I had to change was I had to add two cups of water (one cup after about 15 minutes, and another 15 minutes after that) to prevent everything from drying out and to help the rice cook properly. I used a milder "hot sauce", so it wasn't too spicy. We will definitely make this again!

We eat this at least twice a month - everyone in the house loves it. It's easy to adjust, too. I always add about a cup of water and sometimes some ketchup and/mustard. It's great every time!

It was very delicious with some minor changes. I followed the advice of other reviewers and added two cups of water. I also added in about 1/4 cup tomato sauce to enhance the taste and flavor, and some extra rice to feed my big family. But over-all, it was a nice recipe.

Super Tasty! I didn't have any green beans, so used red bell pepper - and it was awesome! Additionally, I used A1 instead of War sauce - and it tasted great! Double up the recipe if you have a big family though. It barely served my small family of 3.

My fussy husband actually liked this dish. I thought it was very good too. I added some green pepper and instead of a second cup of water, added a second can of tomatoes. I will definitely make this again.
