I have a family spaghetti and meatballs recipe that will always be my favorite, but it is a time consuming, all-day affair to cook it up. This is a much quicker option that satisfies the craving.

My family really enjoyed this recipe. Of all the spaghetti and meatball recipes on AR, I chose this one because the author is from the same town as my husband - Lewiston, Idaho. He's always complaining that my spaghetti and meatballs don't taste like what he grew up with. Well, that problem is now fixed because he loved this! I used Jimmy Dean's Italian ground pork instead of plain.

Great starter recipe to go off of. I added extra online and garlic, mushroom pieces and fresh chunks of roma tomatos...It was FANTASTIC!

Super easy to prepare and had great consistency. Just thought it could use a little more seasoning. I added basil and pepper.

I really liked this recipe! The sauce was very tangy and delicious. I mixed in ground turkey with the ground beef for the meatballs and browned them until they were almost done. I added them to the sauce and simmered for about 40 minutes or so. It turned out great. Next time however, I will add a lot more garlic.

We just didn't care that much for it. I discovered I really don't like sausage in my meatballs.

Was pretty good. Needed more garlic and spices and more sauce. Meatballs were soft and good just needed more garlic and zip. I did not use the tomato paste and I think it still required more sauce.

My family loved it!! The only thing I changed is that I did not have oregano so I used basil! It totally worked. I will never use jar sauce again. I had enough left over to use for pizza!!

I was trying the sauce as it was cooking and it didn't have a good taste at all. However, all of a sudden, it came together and ended up having really good flavor!
