So simple and so yummy!! Great meal that fills you up! Kept recipe as is and will be making again soon! An added bonus is that it was a great way to sneak in eggs for my picky 4 year old!!!

If I could, I'd rate 4.5, but I rounded up. This is a great recipe and I tweaked a bit based on other reviewrs. I'm a turkey bacon fan but I used the real stuff this time. When it was done, I added one chicken breast to the bacon grease. When I added the onion I also added a half bag of frozen peas- we like peas especially with bacon. I did add the wine too. I've been adding a little splash to many recipes here and there and I haven't been disapointed yet. The last change I made was mixing the eggs and cheese together then pouring over the noodle mix. Also, I used just a little parmesan and in its place I used an Italian cheese mix. I prefer this over parmesan. Didn't add any pepper or salt at the end nor did I have any parsley. My whole family (including three kids under 4)ate this up. I must admit, I've never had carbonara until tonight. I was wanting Italian takeout and this fit the bill. DH and I ate the left overs for lunch the next day. It's in my rotation!

this is a good recipe for carbonara. next time i think i will add zucchini when cooking the onions-most add peas but we aren't pea people.

So many people loved this recipe, but I was really disappointed. Perhaps I did something wrong which is quite possible, but the taste was marginal. The family voted against putting this one in rotation.

Loved this dish! Easy to prepare & kid friendly. I made a few changes to the recipe. Used a half pound of pasta (instead of 1 lb), turkey bacon vs. real bacon, used 5 eggs, & added about a Tbsp. of dried basil.

My boyfriend really liked this one--and he's pretty picky. Was quite easy to make. I liked this recipe a bunch. Will definitely make again, but next time more bacon!

So very yummy! After I cooked the bacon, I saved the grease and added chicken breasts and cooked until they were gone in the grease. Oh my goodness the chicken was SO juicy and tender!!! I cut the chicken up in cubes and tossed into the pan with the pasta. Adding the eggs was a weird process, but it still tasted very good. Thanks for sharing! :)

I didn't have any wine so I left that out, otherwise I followed the recipe as is and it turned out pretty good. We hadn't had spaghetti carbonara before, but we both enjoyed it. Next time I think I might add some grilled chicken to make it more of a meal, but it's good as is.

This recipe is really good. I had never tried making this before. It turned out great but I think I will try it with teh wine next time as it was a little dry this time.

Good recipe-As a mom to 6 kids, I look for quality plus quantity. I did use vegetable broth in place of wine and added italian sauages and mushrooms. I also used cream and butter for the sauce. All the kids (even the 2 yr old) loved it!!

Wow! What a great recipe! My husband and I were both a little sketchy about spaghetti with no sauce and covered in eggs of all things but we didn't miss the sauce at all! I have never had or made this before but I will make again soon. I followed the recipe as written and added red pepper flakes and garlic powder after the eggs were added. I also added a liberal amount of fresh ground pepper to the bacon as it cooked. What a great dinner with ingredients I already had around the kitchen. I can't wait to eat it for lunch tomorrow!

Let me start this review by saying this was my very first attempt at making Spaghetti Carbonara. My husband and I enjoyed this dish, but felt that there was just something missing. We had the absolute BEST pasta carbonara in Venice last summer, and we were trying to find something close to it....unfortunately, this wasn't it. I think we like the pasta and sauce to be more creamy than it turned out with this recipe. All in all, we liked it okay, but weren't WOWED by it.

Absolutely amazing! I made this as written and added prosciutto and chicken crisped up a little in a pan, and it was DELICIOUS. I had to make myself stop eating it! Only thing was I probably will just skip the bacon next time and go straight to the prosciutto and chicken-I liked them much better in this recipe.

I was really excited to try this recipe. Unfortunately, I found the sauce very hard to make. The eggs become solid and lumpy when I followed the directions. I obviously did something wrong. I might try this again if I knew how to fix it as it was tasty despite the lumps.

This was good. I thought that it would be similar to the Cheesecake Factory's Carbonara...it was in taste but it was rather dry. After making it, i decided to add seasoned chicken breasts sauteed in olive oil. Next, I added about 1 cup of milk to give it a creamier texture...The pan was finished quickly! It tastes good with or without the modifications!

Very tasty. For those who are lactose intollerant use egg substitute and let others add cheese at the table so everyone can eat this. Noone should miss out!

This is eggy and good! I only kept 1 tbsp. bacon grease and didn't add any additional oil. Did not use wine either. Great recipe when you have absolutely nothing in the fridge for supper!

my husband and i loved the flavor of this. Although i would cut pasta in half it was a little dry maybe because i used penne and its a little more absorbant than spaghetti.. Overall great flavor i will make this again!!!
