A good variation on spaghetti if your tired of the same old thing. It definitely takes a bit more time to cook, but overall its good. I would add a tad bit more cheese and seasoning as it does taste a bit bland. But it all balances out with some good garlic bread.

I've never had spaghetti carbonara before so I didn't know exactly what to expect. I was nervous about the raw eggs, but it turned out really good. I doubled the amounts of cheese and garlic. I also followed other's suggestions by mixing the egg and cheese together before adding them to the pasta. I removed the pasta from the heat before adding the egg mixture and the sauce was very creamy. There wasn't any scrambling.

SO good!! I wouldn't change a thing about this recipe. It couldn't possibly be any easier either which makes me like it even more. It was also really good as left overs.

Delicious! I was hesitant about making this but I'm glad I did. I halved the recipe since I had half of an open box of spaghetti, and only two eggs left until tomorrow...lol. I omitted the onion since my husband is allergic. Added garlic powder to the end result since my attempt to add fresh garlic resulted in burnt garlic (lol...my pan was too hot). So I had to dump all of the bacon fat. Added the peas from last nights dinner. My 19 month old gobbled this up in an instant...peas and all! Last night he wouldn't even try the peas!

From all the reviews, I thought this would be something truly outstanding. But it turned out to be just pasta with bacon and eggs - not one of those cases where ordinary ingredients make something extraordinary.

Very good! I used only 1/2 of a pound of spaghetti and kept the ratios of everything else the same because I like a lot of sauce, and it worked out well. Thanks for the easy and delicious recipe!

I've been making this for a few years now & it is an absolute staple in our house....we have it probably twice a month. I use Whole Wheat Spaghetti & Turkey Bacon to make it a little healthier. I also use 6 eggs & 3-4 cloves of garlic. Also a whole bag(8 oz. I think) of Parmesan cheese. YUM!! A big bowl of this spaghetti is all you need!

I never had spaghetti carbonara before, so I didn't really know what to expect. It tasted bland. Maybe there is too much spaghetti in this recipe or maybe more bacon added would have been better. I probably won't make it again.

I was a little squeamish about the nearly-raw eggs, but I decided to make this for my very-traditional hubby, and he's now finishing his second serving. The sauce wasn't as rich or creamy as I thought it should be, and the flavor wasn't my favorite; but I will give it another try & follow the recipe more carefully, with one exception--next time I will add much more FRESH Parmesan cheese.

I loved this recipe and couldn't stop eating it. It makes A LOT of food so I will probably cut it in half the next time. I did have a problem with the eggs cooking into scambled strands, but I also did not have a pan big enough to hold all of that pasta so I had problems tossing. I will try the method of cheese and eggs togther based upon another review. But even with me messing it up, it was still really, really good.

My entire family loved this! I changed the spaghetti to linguini because the flatter noodles hold the sauce better. I also cooked the onion with the bacon. After I removed the bacon, I added extra garlic and the white wine which nicely mixed in the bits of cooked bacon on the bottom of the pan. I also doubled the amount of bacon and mixed the eggs and cheese together before mixing into the pasta. My husband loved this and both my boys (picky eaters) cleaned thier plate. I'll be making this again!
