Very easy to make and pretty good, according to the meat eaters in the family. The only change I made was to use sweet onion instead of yellow onion. My daughter said she thought she would like it better with chicken, so I will try that. Thanks!

This was really good. I added mushrooms, and forgot skewers so I had to cook on the stove. Used Greek Tzatziki recipe from this site and added cucumbers and was great! Next time I'll try it with the pork intead of beef for stew. Yum! Thanks!

A superb recipe! In the 5 or 6 years since I discovered it, I have used this recipe to marinate everything from pork chops to boneless chicken thighs ... all really delicious and easy.

Wonderful flavor that the whole family enjoyed including our pickiest (burger, pizza) eater. 5 stars are only given to those dishes which are truly amazing. Having said that I will be making this again. The only changes I made was to use 3 lbs of pork, and to include 1 red pepper, mushrooms and 2 yellow squash. Served with roasted potatoes and garlic green beans (recipes on this site).

This is one of my favorites! Made it again last night and served with pita bread and bean sprouts and homemade tzatziki sauce. This is so easy and the flavor is wonderful. If you don't want to use soy sauce just increase the oil and lemon juice a little and add a few pinches of salt. Perfection!

Tasty, I added a little more lemon juice and a little less oregano. I will be making again with beef and chicken.

Hey, it's not traditional but it's tasty. The only reason it didn't get five stars is because I'm still looking for the perfect, authentic souvlaki recipe. This is still pretty tasty and if you make a good recipe of tzatziki to go along with it you won't be disappointed.

Great recipe, very simple to make and tastes pretty authentic to me. I marinated the meat and veggies all day instead of just a few hours, and substituted orange bell peppers for the green. Next time, I'll try my own tzatziki sauce, as others have suggested.

This souvlaki recipe turned out wonderfully, flavourful and authentic tasting. Just a reply to the reference on the "greek not chinese" review. Soya sauce works as a tenderizer; it's not for flavour. The reason for this is so you can marinade successfully in two to three hours. All in all great recipe!

Not sure what happened with this, but we did not like this recipe. Not a lot of flavor, even after marinating for 2 1/2 hrs. Thankfully I made wonderful tzatziki sauce also on this site, since this is the only way we ate it. Sorry, but I won't make this again

I had never tried Souvlaki before and my husband and I loved this recipe! Marinated the meat overnite and it was very tender. As others suggested, I used 1/8 cup red wine vinegar and decreased the soy sauce to 1/8 cup. Also used my own recipe for tzatziki sauce. Can't wait to try it with lamb and chicken!

I messed up on this recipe and let it sit too long (with substituted balsamic vinegar!). I might try again another time...

This was a recipe my whole family loved. The only thing we did differently was we did not add the vegies b/c I have some picky eaters. Was quick and easy and tasted great and tender.
