This recipe was amazing! I switched the tomato sauce for rotel diced tomatos. Also, someone mentioned that it didn't have any flavor. Even though the recipe doesn't call for it, I suggest that you season the chicken before you brown it. I used cumin, adobo, pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and crushed red pepper to season the chicken. Doing that might add the flavor you were looking for.

This was delicious and simple to prepare. I added a few tablespoons of BBQ sauce, some soy sauce, and mixed vegetables. I also followed other commenters recommendations and added extra garlic salt, some garlic powder, and chili powder. It was wonderful served with tortilla chips and sour cream.

I loved this recipe - I made a few minor adjustments - browned a couple slices of bacon, crumbled in and browned the chicken the grease - also used two 10.5 ou cans of diced tomatoes with green chillies rather than seperate cans - it was wonderful - a little hot but great remedy for the winter sinus sufferers - I'm from the south so I put bacon in just about everything and may even try this with a little frozen okra. Thanks for the great recipe !

For more flavor, I used 2-10 ounce cans of Rotels instead of the tomatoes and green chilies. Also I added two teaspoons of chili powder, and before cooking the chicken, I seasoned the chicken with southwest seasoning. This combination gives this soup quite a kick.

My husband and I found this pretty good. It does need something. I add more garlic and more stock. Might make again.

Just Ok - not enough flavor. My family suggested I delete this one from my recipe box.
