Very yummy! I added an extra fresh tomato just because I needed to use it up and I added some cayenne pepper b/c we like it a little spicy. This was a great weeknight easy easy recipe. Will make it again! Picky hubby liked it too!

Great recipe! I used pinto beans rather than kidney beans and added 1/2 can of corn. Will make again often.

Loved it. We did the rice in the rice cooker, and added some corn in the skillet as well.

I was really surprised at how good this is. It was really tasty. I only put in about half of the kidney beans and added more rice. Didn't put in the salt and used garlic powder instead of garlic salt...prefer to not add anything salty.

Very easy and tasty! I doubled the rice and water though. I would even triple it next time so it's not quite so dominated by the meat.

This recipe is fantastic! Such a simple comfort food... all three of my kids cleared their plates... my 9 year old daughter asked for 3rds then finished it off for breakfast! The only changes I made were used 2t. taco seasoning insead of the other seasonings (but due to taste preferences I kept the measurement of salt the same. Then I used regular rice and just simmered it all until the rice was done.

This was a great dish. We served it with tortillas on the side like bread. My kids ate thiers like tacos. The only variation I did was, I didn't have any instant rice, so I cooked the rice seperately in my rice cooker while the ground beef was browning. It made the whole dish come together faster for us that way. Great skillet meal.
