This recipe is fabulous! Used it for Thanksgiving and Christmas 2008 and it turned out perfect for both! I made it ahead of time and put in the crock pot to keep warm until dinner time.

Great, but added more milk than was listed since it came out a bit dry! Probably a mistake on my end, though.

These were creamy delicious! I liked that they were not PLAIN OLD MASHED POTATOES. The chives made them unique. Next time I'm going to add some roasted garlic for an extra punch.

This recipe is great. I did not have chives so I added dried minced onion instead and it mixed in perfectly. Delicious! I can't wait to eat these for dinner today along with the turkey. We're having the "unbelievable rolls" from this site as well. Turned out great too!

Very tasty.I also added one sliced clove of garlic to the potatoes while they were boiling, and used garlic salt instead of regular salt.I found them a little runny at first,so I put them in the oven the half hour my roast was"resting",and they were just fine after that.

These were awesome!! I made my life easier by using 3 bags of the Steam and Mash potatoes - what a great invention for us that love mashed potatoes but hate the work! While they were cooking in the microwave, I mixed together all of the ingredients except the butter. Once the potatoes were done, I mashed them with the butter, then added the mixture of the rest of the ingredients. I had mashed potatoes in 15 minutes - what more could you ask for!

if there was a 3.5 that is what i would have chosen. the potatoes were very creamy, bit i found they were lacking in someway. then again i am a sucker for spice. i added garlic and a little Parmesan and they were an excellent side to the REMPEL FAMILY MEATLOAF i made.
