A simple and easy frosting to do when you have a bunch of cupcakes to decorate or when you have children over for a party and you like them to decorate their cupcakes themselves.

Moist and delicious. It's one of the most favorite among friends and family. Use either one 8x8 inch pan or 4 mini-loaf pans.

This is a rich chocolate cake with a fudge frosting. If you don't have sour cream, you can use sweet cream and add 1 tablespoon of lemon juice or vinegar.

Sour Cream Raisin Pie I

Submitted by: Glenda
This pie 's thick and creamy custard is made with raisins, sour cream, sugar, eggs, lemon juice and cornstarch. They are cooked and stirred until thick, and then the filling is poured into a prepared pie shell and chilled. The top is slathered with more sour cream, and then the pie is thoroughly chilled before serving.

I taught my daughter to make this when she was three. It has become our signature cake with her friends, and mine as well. This recipe is so easy and so good. Could be topped with cinnamon sugar, if desired.

Cinnamon, cloves, nutmeg, sour cream and lots of raisins make this custard pie special. Everything is stirred together in one big bowl, and then the mixture is spooned into a pastry shell and baked. Let the pie cool and serve it with whipped cream or vanilla ice cream.

Sour Cream Torte

This torte is legendary at work; one time it caused a near riot and disappeared in 5 minutes! It's very unusual and tastes like those small butter/nut cookies rolled in powdered sugar. It's not hard to make, it just takes some time, but I guarantee it's worth it!
