These cookies are a little fussy and need watching as they can burn easily, but my family thinks they are well worth the effort. We've enjoyed them at Christmas for the last three years. Use the best ingredients like real butter, and make sure to chill the dough before baking. We love them!

Sorry, but these cookies did not turn out well for me. I didn’t mind the texture but there was no flavor. My teenage son didn’t like them either and if you have a sweet-tooth, like my DH, this is definitely not the cookie for you. I am searching for a cake-like cookie with coconut frosting that mom use to make for Christmas.
