Sour Cream Apple Squares

“Mom and I formulated this recipe back in the '50s after visiting a friend's farm where they made the most delicious sour cream ever. Our first try was perfect, and these apple squares soon became a favorite to serve at social functions. Years ago, we made six pans of these squares when a young Johnny Carson presented his magic show at our card club!”

These were not squares. It was very cakey, and the crust was rock hard. It was bland at best. I would not use this recipe again.

What a crowd favorite! I didn't change anything about the recipe to modify it and it didn't need it either. The only complaint I got was that I needed to make more of it!

Everyone in my Family enjoyed this, Hard to stop at one small square! I could have eaten the whole darn thing myself. and it sure made the house smell awsome!

I did not like the reicpe. It wasn't the greatest, i didn't see the wow factor in it. I followed the recipe, but I'm glad others enjoy it

I'd actually seen this recipe in a book someone gave me a year ago and it was my very first attempt at baking. For a beginner it came out wonderful and was so so easy. Everyone who tried it loved it.
