I have made this a few times now and it gets rave reviews always. I like that it is so easy and prep time is minimal. Had my sister over for dinner one night and she loved it. I serve it with a salad and mashed potatoes!!! Truly a comfort food.

Very simple and easy! I chose to cook this in a crock-pot (my 18-month old son makes cooking right before dinnertime a challenge :) I did take the advice of seasoning the beef (onion powder, garlic powder and fresh black pepper) before rolling it in flour. I also browned it in Olive Oil before putting in the crock pot. I then added the beef broth, Worcestershire sauce, onions and mushrooms. It cooked for eight hours...served it over mashed potatoes and with brocolli. My husband asked to put it on the rotation! Easy and delicious.

This was absolutely wonderful! My husband loved it & so did I. I did add a small can of mushrooms & right before I served it I thickened the gravy a littl with some cornstarch & water. It was really delicious.

My family loved it. Used lipton onion soup mix instead of onions. And served with rice. Was very tender and my husband asked for more. Didn't make enough gravy for my family so I made our favorite packaged gravy and mixed it in with the gravy as noted in the recipe. Turned out perfect. This is a keeper in our home.

This recipe is excellent..... I did season the salisbury steak overnight though with some of my usual seasonings, but otherwise I followed the rest of the directions to the T. Will definitely make again, my husband and 3 boys loved it...

I browned meat in a skillet first, then cooked with remaininging ingredients in the slow cooker for about 5 hours. I seasoned the meat with steak seasoning prior to coating with flour.

My husband loved this. I thought the gravy was really thick and that was before adding flour so I didn't add any more. I served it over noodles and it was really good. I thought that it was a little on the salty side but I may have added a little too much boullion to my water (substituted for the beef broth). Would make this again.

This was good....it was my first time with cube steak, and I was disappointed with that (seemed like a hamburger), but the recipe was great, very flavorful! Thanks.

I made this today and my family loved it. Like other users, I seasoned the meat before dredging in flour. I also added mushrooms. I like the fact that after browining, the dish pretty much cooks itself. I popped it in the oven and then went shopping. When I came home, it was ready and delicious.

I was very satisfied with how this turned out. I salted and peppered the steaks liberally before flouring. I floured them, chopped an onion and some mushrooms, and then floured a second time. After browning in a large skillet, I removed the steaks and added the onion and some mushroom to the skillet, put the steaks back in, and instead of using beef broth, I used an equal amount of water and a packet of beef/mushroom gravy. This removed the need to make a gravy afterward. My skillet has a lid and the whole thing went into the oven - two hours seemed about right to me - it was great. Hubby wanted more, this is a keeper. Just make sure you season the steaks well and don't be stingy with the worcestershire.

Very easy recipie to follow however, it left the meat rather dry. Perhaps with some "tweaking" I might be able to solve that dilemma.

This was an okay dish. Everyone ate all their food but it was missing something. I added extra worchestire sauce but it was still bland. Next time I think I'll take the advice of others and season the steak before coating it in flour. I also think I'll add mushrooms to the dish. Another thing I'd probably add is an envelope of dried onion soup mix to add just a little more flavor. Not bad for a starting recipe but you need to tweak it a bit.
