Yummy. I followed this recipe exactly and it came out perfectly. I had never made/had this before but needed a dessert for a Fiesta themed party. It was a huge hit, everyone loved it. My husband took the leftovers to work and everyone loved it there too. I would recommend cutting small squares as it is a little on the rich side.

I made this tonight for the first time for a Mexican-themed potluck. I thought that it was very good, and everyone else (especially my husband) thought it was delicious! Super easy to make too! I used normal vanilla extract since that is what I had on hand, and I only put 1/2 cup sugar in with the mixture spread on the top. Rolling out the crescent rolls on wax paper was a great idea by another reviewer. It took about 45 minutes to bake in my oven. I served it at room temperature.

I only had regular vanilla extract, but I can't imagine it being possible for this darn thing to taste any more delicious!!! This dessert is going to wow the socks off my Bunko group at our Mexican potluck! Thanks for the recipe!

this was amazing. i understand that everyone raves this recipe but i was still a little iffy about it because im not a big fan of cheescake or cinnamon. but it was truely fantastic. it is even better if u let it cool for a long time. for us that was overnight. it being in the fridge for only a few hours wont get the cheescake part hard enough. it was a little sweet for me, not my boyfriend though, so you could cut down on the sugar in some places. also seriously so easy to make! like ridicoulsly easy. and i just put the rolls down and didnt' press or anything and it came out good. so wonderful recipe and please try! i had to literally hide it from my boyfriend he was getting sick eating to much of it. very good recipe for a big group like pot luck or something,

Wow! So easy, so delicious! Instead of mixing the butter with sugar and cinnamon, I melted it and brushed the top before sprinkling cinnamon/sugar mixture. I didn't even use all the cinnamon/sugar mixture. The crescent roll dough wasn't as easy to work with as I thought it was going to be, but it didn't matter, since you'd never notice once it bakes up. I do like essayjay's idea of rolling it out on wax paper to lay the top portion down over the cream cheese, will try next time.

Although I can't pronounce the name of this dessert very well, I decided to try it just the same. Had 12 guests for dinner made several desserts. One guest said she thought HER cheesecake was the best ever until she ate this one. I made as directed but did spread cherry pie filling over the cheesecake batter before I put the crescent rolls on top. THIS IS OUTSTANDING AND DO NOT ELIMINATE THE HONEY STEP AND BE SURE TO USE MEXICAN VANILLA

I made this for a neighbor's dinner party, and while my neighbor's loved it, I was not too thrilled with the taste. Seemed more like a cheese danish to me. Perhaps I did something wrong, but I don't think I'll make this recipe again ... although 2 of my neighbors have asked for it. (Perhaps it's just me.)

Fantastic recipe! I've made this several times, always to rave reviews! As recommended by other reviewers, I use 3 packages of Cream Cheese (adds a little more filling) and only 1/2 c. sugar in the topping. And using regular vanilla extract seems to work fine. Also, a quick tip for putting on the top layer of rolls. If you lay them on top of the mixture, it can be difficult to stretch them to fit the pan. To get around this, I put 1/2 can of rolls on a piece of wax paper, roll it out to 1/2 the size of the pan, flip it over on top of the cream cheese, and peel off the wax paper. Repeat with the other half. Makes for a good looking dessert with no hassle!

Took this to a cookout on Saturday, there were 2 other desserts - but we all had to fight off 4 teenage boys just to get a small slice. We skipped the honey, was plenty sweet enough and added an additional tsp. of good quality Mexican Vanilla. A+, well done!

My husband and I give this 4 stars--definitely delicious but there's a flavor element missing and I'm not sure what it is. I'll have to experiment. To me, this is more like a decadent breakfast treat--reminiscent of a cream cheese coffee cake (which I love). This is a great standard recipe that will always please a crowd.

GREAT, EASY RECIPE. I DID ADD 2 EGGS.... HUSBAND DOESN'T LIKE SUGARED ANYTHING; SO TOPPED THE UNBAKED PIE WITH MELTED BUTTER AND THE 1/4 CUP HONEY AND BAKED. I ELIMINATED POST BAKE HONEY. VERY IMPRESSIVE LOOKING WHEN DONE AND SURPRISINGLY DELICIOUS WARM!

I just don't see what the big deal is about this recipe.. I was so excited to try this, and its average at best. WAYYY to sweet, hurt your teeth sweet! tastes like pure sugar.. The cream cheese center needs to be firmer, adding an egg would really help.. The melted butter made PUDDLES on the top crust, that's just gross, so cut down the butter as well.

Wow, this is a fabulous recipe! I tried it yesterday, and not only was it super easy, but delicious warm or cold. The only thing I changed, as I am not a fan of honey, is drizzle carmel sauce over it as it came out of the oven. Kudo's to CandelB for this recipe!

Heavenly, as my daughter says just melts in your mouth. I did need to cook for about 50 minutes. And I did take out and brush the butter, sugar topping on the top. Thank you for much for the recipe. New favorite!
