I made this for my Bunko group which was having a Mexican themed evening. Everyone loved it and begged me to send them the recipe. It is very rich, however, so make sure to tell people to save room if you are serving it after a large meal.

Ok, I'm probably not being completely fair to this recipe cause I did change it a little, but overall, I felt like it was just average tasting. (I added brown sugar on top instead of white is all I changed) It was very attractive looking moist and super easy to make, but I wouldn't make it again. I'm looking for a recipe that I will serve company and they won't be able to stop talking about how incredible the dessert is. This isn't that recipe.

I made this as a dessert for my boyfriend's birthday celebration with his family. Talk about nervous! However, this dessert was EXCELLENT! Everyone raved about it and it was so easy to make. I made it exactly as the recipe said but we drizzled honey on it right before eating. WE LOVED IT!!!

I had 2 tubes of crescent dough I wanted to use up, and had been browsing through Pillsbury's site looking for a recipe. I came across this one by accident because it was featured in an Allrecipes daily email, and voila! Crescent dough! It is really too good--my husband couldn't keep his hands off of it, and actually asked if I was trying to kill him. I do have a cookbook, "How to Kill Your Husband", and it has all these really rich recipes. LOL I did add 1 egg to the filling as one person suggested, as most cheesecakes do have eggs.

Made this for a party and everyone loved it... they asked me to send it to them. It is simple, but great. Did add the honey over the top, but not sure if it added much.

This is really really good - and an excellent way of introducing Cheesecake to my husband. I did cut the sugar a little in the (Neufchatel) cream cheese. I only used half of the cinnamon sugar mixture, which was fine - but next time I'll up the cinnamon... A LOT.

Just a note there is another listed "Cream Cheese Squares" that is the same w/o the nuts - whichever way you make it - DELICIOUS. (if you want to add a flavor, try raspberry pie filling on top of cheese layer, then the other layer of dough & cinn & sugar; or Lemon Curd/pie filling - heaven!!)

My rating is for the recipe as is, it's very good. I won't change a recipe then rate it based on the changes. And quite frankley I don't know why allrecipes allows that, it's certainly not fair to the submitter. Having said that, IMHO adding an egg to the cream cheese/sugar mixture turns this into a 5 star recipe!

I have been making this recipe for some time now and have never been disapointed. I have occasionally added a can of apple pie filling on top of the cream cheese mixture. Makes a whole different kind of dessert.

This is very yummy and EASY! Took this to a Potluck tonight and got compliments from EVERYONE! It also turns out pretty with the cinnamin sugar almond combo all over the top! I did drizzle lightly with honey after baking, may drizzle a little heavier next time (adds a nice authentic taste).

I made this dessert for our superbowl party. It was a huge hit. I made one change and added some fresh blackberries (cooked down with a bit of sugar and corn starch) on top of the cream cheese mixture. It gave it a wonderful fruit punch. This was a wonderful surprise for my family/friends. They all asked about the recipe. Thanks for sharing.
